The weapon is called “victimology” and reparations will never satisfy the left. Reparations will go on forever because the next generation and every generation thereafter will demand reparations.
The United States Constitution provides no explicit means for a state or geographic area to secede from the union. As the late conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia once said, ” …the answer is clear. If there was any constitutional issue resolved by the Civil War, it is that there is no right to secede.”
