actually… Nazareth to Bethlehem near Jerusalem is about a 2 hour drive… 94 kilometers
there is a theory that Bethlehem refers to the Galilean town of the same name… and it is much closer to Nazareth… about 37 kilometers
I can tell you as a Submariner “Das Boot” in German with English Subtitles is the single best Submarine Movie ever made and endorsed by Submariners World Wide.
Will Bill’s wonderful wife be on board too?
That is my understanding.
Scott was a Rock ‘n Roll singer?! I absolutely must know more.
Here’s an article in the college paper about the most successful band I was in. Years later my fraternity had profile of me that mentioned the band. I’m trying to find a track, but I don’t think it exists online. There are pictures too. I’ll post if I can find.
Damn! This is THE thing I will regret not being a part of by missing the cruise. Hearing you sing live. No joke. I would have had legit signs made that all the loungers could hold up saying, “SING WHITE WEDDING!”
I’m already trying to bribe Eric into not having any snow this winter. Maybe I can throw a little more under the table for that bootleg?
😀
Thanks for sharing Scott.
By Grabthar’s hammer, I must attend!
It has been my impression – I used to be a feminist, way back in the 70’s, when I was young – that feminists basically hate men, masculinity, individual men in particular.
When I started working, it was in a “man’s world” of STEM, and yes, I shoe-horned my way into the world of how men work, submerged my emotion, tried to become like them. After many years of working, I came to like, love men, in particular the ones I worked with.
Feminists hate men because they’ve been betrayed by them, or resent needing them, or for various reasons. They want to show they can live without them, in their own world of femininity. In many ways, they want to prove themselves better than men.
Just booked a room! Can’t wait.
Look forward to meeting you Sashin.
