In God’s time, the lefts underground cheating will be brought to the surface in full view for all. Unfortunately, I am convinced that the left has a real problem with the truth not matter how irrefutable it is.

2020 over 2019 is 47,664 not 400,000+. With almost no flu deaths last year, is the C-19 test not able to accurately discern between C-19 and other flu variants? Not denying C-19 isn’t real or nasty, just asking an honest question about the numbers.

Another interesting question is why the per capita death rate is rising over the last 10 years (2020 excluded). Seems to be up 10%. Aging population? opioid epidemic? Something else?

Opioids and diseases of industrialization (diabetes, auto immune disorders, obesity) are big factors.

From what I can tell from my experience working in the hospital, the measures we are taking to protect against COVID-19 (mask, social distance) are highly effective against the flu. The current tests we’re running in my hospital actually test for COVID and flu A/B in one test.
It also seems like COVID is more effective at spreading and has basically already killed the 60k people we would usually have die of the flu, long before the flu even got a chance to get started.

When I see someone alone in a car with a mask on I actually scream at them … often it is an elderly person who has been terrorized by the media…
but I have seen young people in hysterics about it too…
when I went for my first shot there was an 18 year old who almost had to be sedated because she couldn’t get a vaccination… so sad…
I am in Israel… needless to say… my elder brother in Toronto said that according to the government website he has 15,000,000 people ahead of him and maybe he will be vaccinated in April… till September… our health funds are much more effective… and Pfizer loves our data…
BTW… no side effects beyond a little pain in the arm for a day…
Mike Rowe says…”Safety 3rd”…
I also wear my mask only when I go into the store and it’s off the minute I exit (if I have a hand free)… and then I leave it in the car between wears to be sun disinfected…
I have little patience for government edicts… I just have finally come to the decision that I don’t have to ask permission for doing what I need… like visiting my grandchildren even in “lockdown”…

If your looking to produce your show in a CGI format, it’s worth considering going away from realism and towards a style that helps deliver the emotional impact with less costly FX. I know we’re not wanting to give any money to Disney right now, but you should really look at the short lived CGI animated show TRON uprising, it’s noteworthy because even though the show isn’t high polygon or hyper realistic, it manages to tell a compelling story of resistance to tyranny (which is probably why it was cancelled).

My point is two fold.

  1. Sometimes with art you can do more with less, simpler animation can convey emotion more effectively than more complex images. Hell South Park uses the fastest / cheapest Animation and has been a hit for over 10 years.
  2. Most people 40 and younger grew up in a world where cartoons are made mostly for adults, or at least with an understanding that adults have to watch what their kids do. Your target demo literally won’t care about the animation quality as long as the story and characters are compelling.

It’s known as the ‘uncanny valley’. People can relate to cartoonish figures even though they aren’t at all realistic. People can relate to other people and very realistic emulations of people. However, when the representation is mostly realistic but not quite perfect we tend to be repulsed. Things just seem ‘off’ and we don’t like it.

Two things, Bill. First you can’t build a space elevator until you clean up orbital debris. Anything else is just suicide.

Secondly, the next problem is going to be mass cases of Immune Deficiency Syndrome because of living in too clean an environment.

Also, maybe you can work into The Colony the rebellious teenager problem with taking too many risks, sex, drugs, and rock&roll.

My thoughts about a mega-corporation would be a pharmaceutical group searching for new products in far flung places using cut-throat policies and selling fun drugs to the masses, although that’s been done already.

Hi Bill, I’m a cold war era Nuc Sub officer. Heard your comment on sub screws (we don’t call them propellers). One clarification, the screws were actually produced by a Japanese company not Electric Boat. We used to cover the screw in drydock so that the USSR couldn’t take pictures and reverse engineer them. That is until that company sold the plans to the Soviets sometime in the eighties. No longer had to cover the screws and they were declassified at that time. I could also tell you about all the civilian nuc tech we gave China during the Obama administration from my civilian nuclear experience. Nothing new about the U.S. being its own worst enemy.

I just heard you say there can’t be terrorists on a frontier since all they would do is scare the family if they kill someone. How does that stand up to the fact that farmers in South Africa are being terrorized into giving up their farms by the heinous acts of torture, rape and murder done to other farmer’s families?

“A terrorist” implies one person or a small group attacking people.
The farmers in South Africa are being attacked by a mob.

Missed the live show again. Read the article right after the MB2A show yesterday. Really woke me up. I have always thought close to what it states. CCP has been working it’s way into all of the countries in the world, for over seventy years. Nixon tried to get them into the modern world, and they did, by using our economic bottom lines against us. Trump tried to put a stop to it. The CCP put their foot down and the Dems / RINOs brought their ‘army’ to the fore and stopped Trump’s efforts. Now Grope Joe is signing everything away.

Regarding masks, there was a great line from a song you never heard by a band you never heard of (Electric Angels), “Some of my friends are dead. Some of them just stopped living.”

I’ve been told that one way Mahatma Ghandi defeated the British rule in India was through civil disobedience/mass protest. The general idea was that the government can arrest one or two individuals, it cannot arrest and jail millions.
It is well beyond time for us to just take off our masks and dare the government to take action against us.
Note that no civil servant has ever been fired for saying NO. No public health “expert” will ever tell us that it is safe to get rid of these restrictions- rightfully- nothing is safe.
