Besides the fragility of color film in the tropics and the cost of supply, the reason most film shot in WWII is in black and white was the shock value of the blood on the public. Even Vietnam was filmed in B&W.

@Bill….I hope you’ve already seen this but in case you have not. You MUST check out the Disney Gallery : The Mandalorian documentary. It was so cool to see how they are creating all their environments in that giant room.
Been there as well with the looking for something right in front of me. Don’t forget to fit in time to decompress and do nothing from time to time. Helps clear the cluttered mind and make the work that comes after much more efficient.
