Normally, I can’t stand having to sit through people’s family pictures, but this was wonderful – your mom and dad were movie star beautiful, and the photos of you from childhood through adulthood are just sooooo fun – from cute to ugly duckling to hunky-dory – quite the metamorphosis. Thanks for sharing your trip down memory lane with us.
Love the Carleton Beach pics, as I’ve mentioned before I honeymooned there in 1972 when it was the Sonesta, my good friends honeymooned there in 1969 when the Whittles may still have been living there. It was years before we realized it was the same place. 49 years ago, it’s still as clear as a bell in my mind, the first time we’d ever stayed at a luxury hotel. 10 days in paradise. I think I’ll look through my honeymoon pics, I must have that staircase in there.
