Well Bob, for the first time I had to disagree with you regarding the method of approaching our wives. After 58 years of dealing with Irene’s occasional doom and gloom episodes by ensuring her of my loving and reasoned solution to her problem, I have felt confident that I confidently knew how to sooth and comfort her. But, as fate would present yet another crisis that night, my ready solution had no noticeable effect so I shifted to following your advice and (surprisngly) she settled down and relaxed. Problem solved! Please accept my apology and restored admiration. You rock!
Dear Bill, I’m thinking this was the best 2 hours I’ve spent on this site or any other site because it showed us more of who your are.. Your advice to the young married guy was awesome. So right!! Thanks for sharing your wisdom with him and with us. Glad you found Natasha and that she found you. Having someone to love and share it with makes all the difference.
On the topic of getting rid of “canon”, part of the problem is that we’ve extended copyright laws to just live on forever. Once something is out even after something like a decade – and while the author is still alive – it should become public domain.

One piece of advice for any young men who are engaged – If at The Rehearsal Dinner your bride to be says, “We are just 24 hours away from fundamentally transforming this man”, run like Hell. Sadly, it was a lesson our country refused to learn back in 2008
i also have a piece of advice for young men. don’t cominngle your assets with a female. just don’t do it. protect your largess at all costs. secondly, don’t make babies.
be smart and don’t worry about the human genome not advancing forward. 99% of men think with the wrong head and have no intention of ever protecting their assets or not making babies.
