Hearty congratulations… to you both… Nazdrovye
Dubai is a great destination… met a new friend from Moscow there last week…
Bill & Natasha,
Congratulations!
Bill, I remember watching my (ATT future) wife and daughter take their citizenship oaths, it was one of the proudest days of my life. I’m sure you understand that.
Natasha, all I can say is, “welcome to the party, pal!”
(Bill can explain the ‘Diehard’ reference!)
Best wishes to both of you for a long and happy life!
Na Zdorovie!

You go, girl! Congratulations and welcome!
Mazel tov, Natasha!
Fantastic! Congratulations.
With regard to that SNG episode where everyone just got what they needed and money was an obsolete concept, I like to contrast that to the Apollo episode in the original series.
On a planet which was ruled by Apollo, there was no war, no suffering and everyone was provided everything they needed, by an all-powerful Apollo. Sort of like the SNG world.
However, Kirk saw this and was appalled by it. He said something like, “Men need to suffer and crawl and fight for what they need. That’s what it means to be human!” So, Kirk promptly destroyed Apollo, thus giving the people the dignity of hard work and suffering.
The Free Market was a basic theme in the original series while socialism was the basic theme of the Next Generation. This is why I never cared for SNG. Although it “looked” good, it was filled with socialist propaganda.
Great news – congrats, Natasha!
Thank you for showing the ceremony! It is touching and uplifting and it is good way to show America! Congratulations to you and everyone as you go forward as a citizen of our great nation!
Congrats. Welcome to the USA!!!
HOW MUCH does it cost to become an American?
