In a recent video, it was stated “On December 14th the electors convene in Washington… and after this there is an offical President Elect.”
As Adrian Monk would say, “I don’t think so.” On December 14th the electors of the various states convene in their respective state capitals. The result of their meeting is some paperwork about how they voted, which is sent to Washington. Then in early January, in joint session of congress, this paperwork is reviewed and the official votes of the electors is “certified”. Prior to this there is STILL no official, legal President Elect. In fact, during the certification process members of congress can object and invalidate the certification.
In normal years, the meeting of the electors and the certification process are little more rubber stamp processes, with a 10-second news item stating that it happened. But this is not a normal year and there are rumors of possible fireworks during the certification process.
As Trump says, “It’s not over yet.”
And, of course, this is my understand. I could be wrong.

Just more opportunities for “republicans” to slip the shiv deeper in our backs, damn cowards
Ah, the lyrics of Monk’s theme tune seem almost prophetic now. Just one word change needed: jungle to swamp.
Now we understand why Miss Hillary warned the candidates to follow her example and never to concede. What a handsome petard.
