Ukrainian Civilians using armed resistance against Russian invaders: “Hold my beer and hand me that AK.”
So … Just imagine if what’s happening in Ukraine were happening here. I don’t mean a Russian invasion, I doubt that’s going to happen any time soon. I mean an oppressed, brutalized civilian population under attack by a modern, mechanized army. It doesn’t have to be an invader to meet that qualification.
The Left has long fantasized about using our own military in that role. This is why we’re witnessing all the efforts on the part of the Democrat Left to undermine the stalwart patriotism of our military and replace our genuine heroes with compliant, flaccid social activists. The Left isn’t concerned about defending America, it’s intention is to subjugate America and bend her to its will.
While everything the Left does today works to advance their agenda, reality continues to belie their narrative with glaring examples of why their ideas not only do not work but are exceedingly dangerous.
Rather than the government arming these brave Ukrainian civilians, imagine how much further along and more effective they would be if they had their own arms and ammunition to fill the gap between need and supply from their leadership.
Thank you to the Ukrainian Patriots giving us this particular example. My prayers are with you as you defend your homes and homeland. I’m sorry that the Leftists I oppose politically here in America allowed you to be placed in these circumstances. Many of you will pay with your lives for that folly while those responsible ignore your sacrifice and struggle instead to protect and increase their own power. God Bless you all.
