Can people’s memory be that short? I was hearing the “we surely win” “the polls are all BS” “nobody would vote on any of those 12 dem candidates” “joe could not even get a dozen people to his rallies” through all 2020. Also there were the brave reports on the upcoming election fixing and fortification, that got as routinely dismissed without action.
Then come election, and job got installed into power, the senate majority went to the dems even formally, while keeping the the rinos there too. The house reelected pelosi to continue everything she did in the previous years.
Some people just don’t like facing the inconvenient reality, when things happen opposite of their desires. And turning to cheap measures like just declaring the winner anyway. Formerly that was just up to hillarys and stacys, but now infesting the supposedly earth-walking division too.
I don’t know what your end is, but if you pray to people who have valid warnings to shut up and make it more convenient for folks to swim in the warm pee you likely work toward continuing the dark period.
Lot of people actually suffer from what is going on in real life and number of stars on some videos does not improve that by a bit.
Also I’m sure Bill posts those videos to incite the action, not just for chasing his own popularity and star rating. Maybe should create one dedicated to pointing out that sitting back in the armchair and posting thumbs and stars while really ignoring the content will not create progress.
I despaired for many years before I found my way to understanding and being able to practice the attitude of the “happy warrior”. The keys to that for me were (1) ceasing to think and behave like a stationary target, (2) realizing that Liberty is an idea that cannot be extinguished – that we will find a way, whether here or elsewhere, (3) focusing on gratitude for the amazing good run we’ve had and all the potentials the future affords us, (4) learning to laugh at the absurd (the entertainment is delivered daily now), (5) realizing I would never trade places with our miserably bitter, angry foes and am exactly who and where I need to be, (6) finding determination to put good stuff out there and do something positive to advocate for the thing that gives me joy, this culture of Freedom and company of fellow patriots such as you all that I so dearly love. Reading Natan Sharansky’s “Fear No Evil” was a key turning point for me too: It’s such a powerful, surprisingly uplifting reminder that our values, integrity, and inner worlds cannot be ceded without our consent. As one who has followed everything very closely for the last six years, in my opinion, all real, non-leftist Americans are fed up with the race-baiting, divisive, globalist communist Democrats and RINO’s. While indeed there were some minor victories too, a rare brave judge actually stood behind the first amendment. The blm terrorists now started to get out against the vax BS. A number of NY nurses decided to go the principled way no matter how hosed they get. And some more bits like that.
But overall call the whole picture “we are winning”?
Afghanistan really sunk them. So did Fauci being exposed for a liar. Identity politics and cancel culture are dead. The Haitians at the border opened many people’s eyes, especially when they resorted to crying racism again. They’re just out of bullets. Their levers of power are gone, even the Senate. Moderate Democrats aren’t falling in line with the progressive agenda and massive spending.

Wait until the truth comes out about the Arizona audit, the new Texas audits, the military guy just arrested for questioning our leaders’ decisions in Afghanistan, Naomi Wolf’s reporting on public health emergencies being the common first step of tyranny, etc.
Their biggest hope was claiming no reason for additional oversight in the 2022 elections as the Arizona audit showed nothing. Not only did it show plenty. They lied about it, crucifying their propaganda machine all over again.
This is the beginning of the end of the Democrat Party in America as we know it. Hopefully, they’ll return to reality and rationality with more moderate positions, but I don’t think there is anyone alive who will trust them again with power whatever form it takes. In my honest opinion, I think it will be a couple generations before they see the White House again. What’s a reformed party going to say? Trust us?

One thing that gives me confidence is a comment by Bill O’Reilly. When researching one of his books, he said that he found half of the country wanted to remain loyal to King George. Well, half of our country now seems OK with government tyranny.
What I glean from that O’Reilly comment is that another civil war is inevitable. This is not reassuring for our way of life given that, in spite of our country’s founding history, there is no guarantee that a similar outcome will occur. What is more certain is that many will die in the pending conflict.
Unfortunately for humanity, the glass is never half full. It’s always half empty — like the minds of those in favor of tyranny.

Good points, I guess it’s just a matter of what is going to give out first. The nation or the Left.
The lock on power problem is still a biggie though. Even if most states go back to pre-COVID voting rules there are still some mighty big ones that will not, at least not for a while or until forced to. NY and CA are two of them.
This adds to the cheating problem if they already have those states and others like them in their pocket(s). They’re working from a position of strength and the margin gets slimmer if they can literally just decide elections in those states. Then all they have to do is work on the states they don’t have control over yet.
I don’t foresee any time in the near future where the Left will be able to disregard the legitimacy conveyed in the election process though. They just have to rig them but they won’t be able to do away with them entirely. That would make their illegitimacy too obvious and I doubt that America would stand for that if it ever got that far.
This is something that spreads like a cancer once it gets going. Cancer can spread slow or fast but spread it will if it can.
Historically once a tyrant comes to power he just keeps doubling down on “drastic measures needed to meet the crisis” even if the crisis is wholly invented. If we don’t get House, Senate and Whitehouse back in the next two elections that ship might have sailed. I don’t know that we won’t, it just worries me. We’ll see what we’ll see.
And that worries me too because the things I’ve had faith in temporally and politically are being dismantled piecemeal.

I really hope if that’s going to happen it’s sometime after my lifetime. It would break my heart. Both to see that happen to my beloved country and because I’m too old and beat up to pick up a weapon and stand with other Patriots. My mind is in a lot better shape than my body and a few people I know and myself are no slouches at things tactical and strategic so there’s that but … I don’t want to see that, I’ve seen that elsewhere and it’s all bad. Whether it happens or not is outside my power to influence.
You and I definitely live in different realities. I know many who consider the CDC to be a fount of gospel, and those in policy-making position are its priests with many acolytes supporting their edicts. Unfortunately, many people, myself included, cannot currently afford to abandon a career to go where the mandates are roundly rejected. I work at an institution where 85% of the workforce blindly accepted the mask and wuflu shot mandates. The acolytes and sycophants comprise the majority here. The rest of us are either forced to comply or lose employment after decades of service. Even those who claim religious exemption are to be placed on indefinite leave without pay if the strict requirements for exemptions are met — there is an empty hope that policies and mandates will loosen at some future date. Rejected? Tell that to the 72000 (16%) medical employees in the state of New York who will likely be unemployed in two weeks. Not everyone can move to more citizen-friendly locales.
If history is to be believed, I agree that leftism (as exemplified by Biden et al.) inevitably loses; however, many people will die in the process. The cycle of insanity always repeats, and its frequency often exceeds a human lifespan.
The one thing that seems to apply is that with all of the bad polls (either the elections or just the Rasmussun types) the “elites” are getting bad data and making bad decisions based on that.
They think their ideas will work until they try them and fail. Each failure seems to be getting larger and they will hit a point that will be too much. The NY shot overreach might just be one of those lines too far. If a lot or nurses and such get fired and whole bunch of places close, I imagine they hope the wrath will fall on the nurses but as others have pointed out, you cannot take heroes and turn them to zeroes quite that fast. This won’t be “some idiot MAGA types refusing the shot” but “medical professionals”.
On the elections, I think we can mostly write off Cali because the sane have left and the majority are just the inmates left in the asylum. Nationwide however, I don’t think the machine knows how many ballots to create. They had some cover with record numbers of mailed ballots they could claim were returned by real people, but with most states going back to voting in person, it will be harder fake the right amount. We might have “lost” the presidential election but the House and Senate are a little different. What I worry most about is what they might do in the lame duck period between Nov and Jan. Might be something damaging or might be just handing us legislative ammo to shut down the White House for the next two years.

This is not a “health emergency” as the Public Health Service Act of 1944 demands it must be. Same with the illegal vaccine mandates. They are not law, and they are unenforceable by corporate America. Dictator Biden is hoping companies and employees will comply while they are being challenged.
People are using video to record terminations and demanding termination letters so they can sue later.

2022 is going to be a bloodbath at the polls, and the globalist, communist, tyrannical Democrats and RINO’s are about to have the rest of free America feed them their own skin. Their one last hope was to maintain the lie that the Arizona audit showed no evidence of fraud and paint Trump and his supporters as insane, delusional liars for saying so.
MSNBC tried this and failed. So instead of being able to claim no reason for additional oversight in 2022, the establishment is going to be forced to deal with us watching them like a hawk and auditing the crap out of anything that looks fishy.
They’re out of bullets. Time to turn up the heat and stomp the crap out of them (figuratively, of course).
So say goodbye to the communist Democrats and all the globalists. It will be several generations before we let them near power again, and I believe other countries will follow suit.
Just to add, I believe there is going to be a huge restriction of government power going forward. Health Departments. Building Departments. Zoning. Planning. School Boards. Liquor Control Boards. You name it.
Mark my words. The defanging of government will not end with the CDC, Dr. Faucenstein and the state governors and health departments. It will not end if for no other reason than I will not let it end, and I know I’m not alone in this fight.

You cannot guarantee that. Unfortunately, I live in a leftist-controlled State and a county that voted Democrat in the past two federal elections. Just because you assert it doth not make it truth. If the vocal individuals in this county are a reasonable indicator, then the general thinking here slightly favors the tyrannical left.
I do hope that you are correct in your optimism; however, hope is a lousy strategy. Contrarily, I believe that the majority voters in key locales (“useful idiots”) have been bought and paid for by those who would destroy our nation.
Yeah no kidding. Guarantee there is a figure of speech. Of course I can’t guarantee it, but what we do know is that there are a large number of people out there afraid to speak up, and I’d be willing to bet that more of your co-workers fit that description than you think.

Most of America is not like that, and the MSM ratings show it.

Tell that story to your lefty friends at work and let them know they are betraying their fellow Americans by supporting this tyranny. If that doesn’t wake them up, they’re a lost cause. Move on to someone else with a brain whose inflated sense of self-importance doesn’t rely on irrational vaccine mandates.
We could vaccinate every single person tomorrow, and they would come up with another rule or variant or whatever, none of which will have anything to do with science or facts.
I have no “lefty friends” — just lefty colleagues — I am much too discriminating to consider any of them a friend. However, talking politics at work is often taboo, so I don’t think I’ll be convincing any of them in the near future even if they would listen.
Well whatever you want to call them. I wasn’t being that literal. But you bring up an interesting point. The reason free speech is so important is that it doesn’t give cover to snitches. Everyone already knows what everyone else thinks. People started saying a long time ago don’t talk politics or religion in polite company as it might hurt someone’s feelings. Sound familiar?
Sunlight exposes the good people as well as the jackasses. Without it, we don’t know who the real tyrants are, and they rely upon that.
I’m not suggesting you handicap yourself in your workplace by making pronouncements in the lunchroom (or wherever), but I’ll tell you I’ve been very surprised sometimes at who among me voted for Trump. It comes out in private conversation, and I usually start with some innocuous conversation starter which doesn’t divulge my position like…”Tough situation (in Afghanistation / at the border / with this infrastructure bill / whatever).” Then see how they respond.
If nothing else, it gives you an opportunity to correct the record someone has been fed by the fake news.
“Yeah can you believe Orange Man? What a dummy. Left Biden with a real mess demanding we leave by May 1st.”
“Well, if you’re interested, the plan was only to leave upon certain conditions.”
“Hot outside today huh?”
“Yeah that climate change is a killer.”
“You know I never would have thought, but I was looking online the other day and we actually had more CO2 in the atmosphere at the end of the last Ice Age. It’s not even close. Blew me away.”
Of course, people who already know the real truth will tell you just that and how sick they are of being muzzled.

My answer is how the hell are we going to figure it out if we don’t talk about it?
Any temporary activity which allows my brain to take a breather and refocus, and it always makes me more productive when I return to work even after 10-15 minutes.
Also, a nice walk around the block or to the store…anywhere to break your thought process…does the trick. Deep breaths. Singing along to your favorite songs. Doing a puzzle. Reading a book. Cooking a meal.

I don’t think it to be strange that many of us disbelieve most of what is spouted in the media and simultaneously are agitated by it. This is a reasonable response to the obvious work of evildoers to destroy our republic. Warriors go to war. What’s to be happy about that?
Escapism into fiction is not the equivalent of happiness; it is just a respite from the burdens of life. The trick is learning to not let those burdens prevent the escape.
Perhaps the citizens of the former Soviet Union were correct in approaching life with their morbid sense of humor.

My best buddy and I have this sort of discussion frequently.
He’s of the opinion that “everyone is being fooled or are fools willfully accepting deception as truth”.
I don’t think that’s so and I point out that you really can’t tell because the main stream media is so biased and skewed. My position is that America is always the “sleeping giant” that Yamamoto feared so greatly and correctly.
There are polls that frequently prove my point but then we all know that polls aren’t all that reliable.
So my friend and I go back and forth.
Sometimes I seriously wonder after such a discussion if he’s not broaching topics and taking the position he does so that I can give him a more positive, more hopeful take on things. I seriously don’t know if he’s doing that or if he’s actually despairing and losing perspective.
The media lies. If you believe those lies that’s on you. But also if you think those lies are being as effective as the media would have you believe then you’re also a victim of those lies.
Maintaining a positive attitude with what is happening (or not happening) in our government today is extremely difficult. With most government employees being democrats, conservatives are fighting a HUGE uphill battle. A mentor of mine in the business world told me early on, “if you couldn’t make in the private sector, you “worked” for the government”, and one of the problems with government IS they have NO product, other than “paper”… The future of our Republic is currently in the hands of left-wing idiots and that is what is so scary!! Well it’s not so much that I watch the mainstream news and don’t believe any of it at first glance that upsets me, it’s that so many people are buying it … they ARE believing it, and that has a direct impact on elections, which has a direct impact on policy and law (as practiced).
For a great template of a happy warrior, I look no farther than Mike Rowe. If we could all be more like Mike, we’d make a lot more headway.
I saw his post on Facebook about the SF Mayor Breed and his wonderfully non-political response was not to bash for being a hypocrite but to praise her for being truthful about the effectiveness about the vaccine (even if that wasn’t what she said or the excuses she made) and he wanted to send her a Safety Third mask (though since they’re mostly a fundraiser it was probably more an ad plug than saying what he was going to do).
Mike Rowe has a great way with words. He can register his distinct disapproval and ridicule the recipient without being insulting. A true gift.
Mike Rowe is one of my favorite people. Love his work. As far as people believing the fake news, they really don’t. No one believes 2020 wasn’t stolen other than the most strident loyalists desperate to hold onto the reasons for their inflated egos. One other point is that when are Leftists ever happy? The only times they are is when they get the right to tell us Normals how to live our lives. Seriously, since 2008 I can only think of three – Barry O’s election, Obamacare passage, and the Supreme Court forcing gay marriage on the country. For the last thirteen years they have been living in a perpetual stage of rage or depression. In the end, nobody wants to be like these people. I think that 2020’s election of Biden* is where they peaked. The Radical Left still holds all of the high ground (media, education, entertainment, the military, federal government), but now they have to defend their garbage positions and they’re not liking it

The left will never be happy. We had plenty of episodes on that — they have a huge void and it can’t be filled. At least while also remaining a leftist, es soon as you you discover that you HAVE an actual life and start to live it, you fell out of that camp. It’s an important point, as so many people still chase the rainbow and tries to give in an inch here or there, obey just one more order in thinking then they get satisfied and go away enjoying the victory. No such thing exist. You immediatly face the nexd demand, and when it seems everything is exhausted, some new and more ridiculous goal gets invented.
