It’s easy in these interesting times to get emersed in the politics, the unremitting kulturkampf and to get very down indeed. The Left’s pretty successful attempts to “make the personal political” has seen politics bleed into ever increasing areas of life. If you watch sport, a film or TV for escape you can often find the political gatekeepers have already found your escape tunnel, they’ve pinned propaganda leaflets to your carefully constructed prop shafts and you can see the gleaming toes of their jackboots at the other end.
So, when you find something truly fun and untainted you want to share it. Here is a joyous video from the YT channel of Mr Andrew Cotter. He started doing little vids with his two Labradors, Olive and Mabel, during lockdown and they’ve rather taken off. This is my favourite and the first I saw (I was late to the party, you may have already seen them). The hushed mock sporting commentary is perfect. The dogs are gorgeous. The humour subtle, but very funny.
I hope these vids make you laugh and smile, and help renew you for the cultural and political fight that we must not lose.

I love it when I find a new (perhaps only to me) performer who matches a performance like this. I think that Penn & Teller started the show Fool Me to keep the magic in Magic alive.

I try to curb my enthusiasm. With limited success. My enthusiasm and bloody-mindedness have got me in real trouble.
But this is one of those fun videos I can watch a second or third time.
