When Ronette was in HS she watched the American Crime Story on OJ. She thought it was pretty good and came from the folks that did Glee, which she liked. The second season of it was all about the murder of Gianni Versace. She liked it, I had NFI.
Last month she told me I would like the new season. It is entitled Impeachment and none other than Monica Lewinsky was an executive producer. I had little hope as it comes from Mordor , oops, Hollywood. But we watched the first episode last night. And it was surprisingly good. Though I did have to give some backstory that was mentioned but not detailed (Bernie and Vince discussing Whitewater briefly the day before Vince goes to the park) maybe they get into it later. Certainly episode 1 seems to lay the ground work that Bill and Hil are not nice people. The inside politics backbiting comes off as real. This may turn out to be something fun.
Though all of the actors, though they tried, are much too attractive to play the people they are playing. Still I find myself wanting to see what they do with it.
