To Bill, Scott, and Steve

Guys, I am a little concerned that I see some friction between the three of you; most notably between Scott and Bill. I get it that you all are passionate, and you 3 usually can disagree without any sort of angry undertones. But lately…well, it appears to me that Bill and Scott are getting a little testy with each other. I don’t always agree with Scott’s takes (most of the time I am with him, but on rare occasions I have minor disagreements), but I like the fact that Scott often portrays the other side’s arguments or points of view with a fair amount of reason in his discourse. I genuinely thought that’s what both Bill and Steve wanted in their compatriot.

I have seen this fracturing (or rather, apparent fracturing) in some of the Bill Whittle Now shows. I greatly appreciate hearing Bill compliment Scott on how well he presents the other side of the argument that challenges his mindset. But there are occasions where I think Bill gets a little irritated with Scott. That perception in my mind came to a head with the recent Right Angle episode “Married To The Mob.”

Maybe I missed something, but I don’t think the two of you were all that happy with each other after that episode. No, I didn’t particularly agree with Scott’s take on a few things, but he’s a part of the team, a smart guy, a man of faith, and a man of peaceful intent. I detected a bit of friction between the two of you. In a time where we have ideological enemies all around, the last thing we need is for those at the tip of the Conservative spear to be upset with each other.

Maybe I am wrong, and maybe I saw something that isn’t there. I will be happy to be mistaken, and please correct me if I am. But we need you guys to be friends. We need you guys to be civil even in your disagreements.

Just my thoughts. You guys do great work together. I watch you religiously.

This was the main reason I joined. To me it seems to add a bit of drama that might not belong. I dont want to see a tiff or a taff or even a bitchslap because it to a degree detracts from the points they both get across. Everyone needs to sharpen up, we are all in this together for the goal of taking the NEW off normal. I will say this, I joined because these three guys are the only ones I see making a difference and for that I’m grateful. Thank You Bill, Scott, Stephen.

As much as I love Bill, I have on occasion felt during Right Angles that when he had a pet theory about something with which the others disagreed; that he took the line that since it was his show that his viewpoint should take precedence.

While there is a certain fiscal merit to that, I watch RA (and watched Trifecta before it) for the interplay between the different cultures, beliefs and views of each individual that makes up the team.

Perhaps it’s a valid point that Scott’s suggestions in this episode would’ve been best suited to their own video discussion, but at the end of the day the true strength of the conservative position is our ability to have constructive discourse with each other, even when disagreeing on the main points.

Bill has been pretty ticked lately. Ever since watching his reaction to them stopping the count of vote last week on Tuesday night, I can tell that he is legitimately pissed with what’s happening in our country and has done his best to conceal the full extent to which he is PISSED OFF. Probably why he dropped the F-bomb in his latest Firewall. I feel the same way as him to be honest and am probably am to go a lot further in my frustrations due to just being some random faceless guy on the Internet.

As to Scott’s reaction, I got the sense that this particular issue has been something that has slowly been frustrating him for a while now. In this latest video, he just finally decided to just speak his mind. Unlike a lot of people, I can see firsthand where he’s coming from. I think that discussion does need to be had, although probably with a video of its own rather than a video where a BLM mob is ransacking somebody’s property.

As for Steve, I got the sense that there was a little more than coffee in that mug of his this morning . . .
