In 2008, voters were looking for inspiration — thus, Barack Obama. In 2016, for someone to rock the boat — thus, Donald Trump. In 2020, American voters are looking for a break from the ‘Trump show’. That’s Tim Alberta’s thesis.
Writing at Politico, Alberta portrays Biden’s “boring, monotonous, uneventful” campaign as “superb”, being exactly what the country wants right now — a moment of dull respite from the never-ending political spectacle.
Is he on to something, or on something?

This just proves that any one with a PHD that chooses to involve them – selves in politics wasted their money. Get a real job einstein.
Biden voters must be the stupidest electorate in US History.
Not stupid, ignorant… ‘low information voters’… if you only watch half the news (one interpretation of what is ‘news’), you don’t even know that there’s another interpretation… (btw, I get this all from Scott Adams, been watching him since 2016)
Nah, just plain damn stupid . Or evil. Or both
I get your point, Grace. I’m just not as kind as you
When Biden stated that “we have the biggest most organized vote fraud organization in the history of the US”, I became very very suspicious of “people” flooding google with copious questions on “how do I change my vote?”
Sounds like some kind of false flag and possibly but not necessarily in our favor. What does this signify? Don’t most Americans KNOW that once you vote, you cannot change it?This is crazy!! What are we missing here?
I was wrong. You can change your vote in some states. I’ve always gone to the polls to vote and missed that bit of info. MAGA 2020. Let freedom ring!!
`Major trends on Google are “Can I change my vote?” and “How do I change my vote?”
Insert Sundance’s suspicious cat photo here when Google is involved. You can’t trust them. How many Chinese working behind the scenes does it take to manufacture a major trend?
I’m voting on Nov 3. Have always voted on “Election Day,” and don’t see any reason to change now. I do think, however, that the first Tuesday after the first Monday should be a national holiday…to celebrate our dedication to free and fair elections. Add in purple-inked fingers and paper ballots, and I’d be very happy.
BTW, if a peaceful protester can loot and set fires without concern for spreading COVID, standing quietly in line to vote shouldn’t be an excuse to change voting rules. I have never seen such twisted logic in my life.
The recent Pennsylvania Supreme Court rulings will certainly be challenged, as they should be. Accepting non-postmarked and unverified signatures are an indictment of the democrat machine in that state.
I, too, am voting next Tuesday, November 3.
But, I live in California, and with the new ‘mail-in’ voting process am increasingly worried about how my in-person vote is going to be treated vs other ways of sending in the vote. My sister mailed hers in, and got confirmation that it was ‘received’. Her husband and son (just turned 18, voting for the first time!) are going to vote in person.
Are all these ‘votes’ going to be lumped together in one basket (so to speak) and all treated as legitimate? How is legitimacy verified? It’s a new process for California, the great blue state (especially w/ Silicon Valley based here, and all the social media shenanigans happening there).
Biden: “As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.”
I loved that movie.
When life gives you Biden, make ridiculous claims about legally sequestered, under employed, economically constrained citizens wanting to be more bored than they are now.
Exhibit # 876,492,419,729,231 in the case against believing popular media/Democrats.
I can see the MSM headline now: Bill Whittle Says Getting Your Driver’s License Is Political
The Pennsylvania ruling mandates that mail-in votes received up to three days after election day must be counted. The problem is that those votes now must be counted whether or not they have a postmark. That means that there’s no way to determine if those post-election day votes were mailed before election day so it’s possible to submit votes without postmarks after election day and they must be counted because it can’t be determined when they were submitted.
See my post about this on the blog.
Hey Scott, remember Wimpy the Gerbil? LMAO
For those wondering who Wimpy the Gerbil is:
It happens that Scott and I attended Penn State for the same four years. (We didn’t know each other – Penn State had at the time about 40,000 students.) In one of those years (I think our junior year), someone put up a gerbil named Wimpy for undergraduate student government (USG) president.
Wimpy won.
Sadly, the school declared that Wimpy couldn’t serve and the post was awarded to the second place finisher. I’d love to say that there were mass protests against that horrible injustice, but we were smarter back then than today’s college students and we all just chuckled and let it pass.
(Small side note: It was common for people to put up signs in their dorm windows supporting their favorite USG prez/veep ticket, most of them like this:
Smith
Jones
USG
Freshman year, I put up a sign supporting a dining hall staple:
Stuffed
Turbot
USG
It made the Daily Collegian newspaper.)
I know many people who have early-voted for Trump.
I had to. In Oman for work for the next two weeks.
“In 2020, voters are looking for a break.”
Wishful thinking on his part.
I cannot verify Bill’s claim that hundreds of thousands of people are ignorant of the slang term “coyotes” in the context of illegal alien children; however, this is likely what those folks are imagining:
You beat me to Dar’shun Kendrick of Georgia…..
Ugh. I’m from GA
Super sorry. I see that Representative Hank Johnson district is in the same neighborhood. Congressional district maps and State legislature maps don’t readily overlay. I’m guessing it’s in the same area. It’s ok, California has Berkeley, Oakland and Alameda adjacent. Every state probably has it’s L.O.L. enclaves.
LOL….Left of Left. I didn’t coin it, but I’m going to use the hell out of it! It’s a perfect acronym!
Looking for a break from the riots, looting, murders, and burning buildings because criminals hate losing??? maybe.
I waited four hours and 50 minutes (0750 to 1240 Hours) to vote using my rollator on the first day of early voting in Texas in Bexar County and not once did an poll work ask if I wanted to come to the head of the, with is supposed to be the custom.
I said this to my wife the other night when we heard about a poll that had 7% undecided. Who the heck is possibly undecided. PDT has been POTUS for almost 4 years, he started running over 5 years ago and has been in the national media since the mid 80s.
Joe Biden has been in federal government since 1973. He has run for President 3 times and was VP for 8 years.
These are both KNOWN quantities. How the heck is anyone undecided?
In relation to this video, that means that their qualities are already baked in. For Politico to think that Biden’s campaign is playing some high level chess by being calm and cool is ridiculous. The only thing they gain by calling a lid everyday is Joe saying less things that make him appear out of it.
Those who are tired of winning and want to lose what little freedom and liberty that is left, want Biden and Co. They do NOT want to be responsible for themselves and expect everyone else will work to keep them alive. I suggest they have a huge surprise coming. Things won’t work out as they expect. If they get their wish, they will become part of that mountain of dead bodies and rivers of blood that always follows abandonment of reality.
It only takes a brief and honest look at history to know the above is true.
I realize that I may be “speaking” to the choir, but those voters who want a Joe Biden administration (lowercase ‘A’ intended) are NOT American — they are, in fact, anti-American. All of the anti-Americans need to find a different planet on which to live, because their form of stupidity is unwelcome. In fact, like an Ohio Sheriff recently stated, I am willing to help them move. A Joe Biden administration is anti-American in that it supports/promotes
