Years ago, I worked for a division of a fairly large corporation. We had an inexpensive product line that should have been quite profitable. But it wasn’t, on paper. The problem was we had a large R&D department and other overhead that got charged across the board, based upon production hours. This could not be separated on paper. The solution was to move this line into a separate, small building across town. There were only four non-production employees. And suddenly, profitable.
The point is, if PP has to show that no gov money goes to abortions, the only real way to do that by gov accounting rules is to separate out the tasks.
I am sure this tactic has been known, but someone with the cajones to employ it needed to come along.
Great commentary guys. I find myself feeling totally betrayed at the 100’s maybe 1000’s of “republicans” who have gone to DC and basically become tools to help maintain the democrat people tax and control machine.
I was allowing my mind to wonder and think about what would have happened if the most prim and proper republican in politics today was president. Imagine if in 2016, instead of Hillary and Trump, Hillary and Romney were the choices. Then imagine somehow that Hillary did not beat up Romney with his own tie and Romney won.
I am thinking it would have taken 1 or at the most 2 of the relentless name calling, lie spouting venomous attacks by media and deep state and Romney would have called up Obama given him and Michelle a wing of the WH. Then Romney would become a professional WH coffee server and let Obama continue to run the show…. OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration but it would have been a brutal mess with the same effect and likely as many (or less) republicans in congress would have supported Romney thinking the progressives would have their jobs. After Obama’s transformation of America and seeing what Trump was actually handed with the corrupt deep state and DOJ and the rest of the DC Cluster, I am more convinced every day that Trump is the only answer I have seen that has even a little chance.

I blog and debate a lot in various forums online in the political arena. I constantly face hordes of progressives who assault Trump and conservatives on morality arguments. This is easy to defeat because so many Democrat politicians have been and are scum of the earth rat scallions. I argue back with lists and facts around popular Democrats who are morally depraved yet face no opposition within their party. I present good outcomes from a variety of really evil politicians. Then I make the bullet proof argument that Democrats (because of historical facts) have zero high moral ground to preach from. This leads me to outcome based political and voter support for politicians based on that. By the time I am done…….. they are usually speechless. I don’t care if Donald J Trump is a pompous @$$. So was Ted Kennedy, so was LBJ, etc….. I can walk through history and prove that heroes of the left(Bill Clinton), were scumbags in real life, so……. don’t preach about morality. I use recent examples too. Like Obama drone killing people, or actually building border detention facilities and separating families, etc…. basically I defeat these moral high ground arguments. And it’s even easier with Godly Christian people, because all you have to do is go straight to the abortion topic. Most practicing devoted Christians know in their heart that abortion is evil, so it’s even easier to shut down their arguments. I also bring in Trump’s dramatic and strong actions in support of Israel. Bottom line here is this. We MUST stand up and beat back the liberal progressive horde. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing!
Their ‘moral high ground’ is virtue signaling. You can be as immoral as you want as long as you (first it was tolerate) celebrate diversity and all the other virtue *#%&
I believe Trump can accomplish the things he has because he has no (or very little) political debt. Are there any other political figures (left or right) who can match this? As a matter of fact, isn’t this the reason that the left and the Never-Trumpers attack him? He doesn’t owe them.
They have no political leverage over him.
It must be an overwhelmingly helpless feeling.
Thank goodness for Donald Trumps thick skin. Maybe his example will inspire others to stand up to the insane idea that Government should be like Robin Hood.

The enormous relief of Americans whose taxes won’t go to pay for abortions is unfortunately outweighed by the enormous number of Americans whose vapid content of character enabled the election of degenerate reprobates to allow these payments to abortuaries. Roe v Wade would never have legalized abortion if there was an enormous outcry of Americans demanding the SCOTUS be removed and replaced by justices reflecting the true character of America. But there’s the rub. The SCOTUS did and still does reflect the content of America’s character! You and I are just a minority.
These procedural “victories” will only be short-lived as President John Adam’s haunting warning predicted over two hundred years ago:
“[W]e have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. … Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other”
Translation: Our Constitution has no power to prevent the atrocities being committed in abortion clinics for nearly two generations. Where there is a will to do evil, there will always be a way. In other words, there are people who desire to “gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles”. If a majority of people won’t donate $10 a month to fund an abortion clinic, then why does the political party with the most members, advocate abortion? Because it’s more delicious to make your enemy help fund the evil. The only way this evil will stop is if the majority of people have a change of heart and elect public servants who reflect their pro-life values.
Bill just triggered a thought with the Grant – McClellan comparison. Republican swamp creatures like Ford, Bush 41 , maybe even to some extent the sainted Ronaldus Magnus and many many cabinet officers are worried about having their ‘good guy- one of us’ reputations sullied so they tend to kowtow to the media. Trump simply doesn’t care , he came to Washington pre-sullied more mud thrown on him has no effect, ala Grant.
If you had a celebrity do the video I think you would have a bunch of people donating money at that time as a one time donation. But, if you asked them to commit to a monthly recurring donation you would have very few. That is the difference between simple virtue signalling and a real commitment to the cause.
