If Trump is accused of going after Biden via Ukraine inquiry, for political purposes shouldn’t Warren and Sanders recuse themselves for political purposes?

How many WDC politicians have kids who have done things similar to those Hunter Biden has done? Is this impeachment a case of mutually assured distraction? Who will flinch? I suspect the Bidens will be paid to take the fall for them all?

WHAT IF THE WORLD TREATED THE U.S. LIKE A ROGUE STATE? This is a Hufpo article by Samanth Subramanian at Highline part of site. If we the US intervenes in other countries directly or by proxy through the UN what’s to stop if from happening to the US? VA gun grab on steroids.

Pitching great (3,000 strike outs ) Kurt Schilling, a man of many percentages, says the Huston Astros signal stealing is equivalent to the 1919 Chicago Black Sox scandal. He said in a four game series about 600 pitches would be tossed at Astro’s hitters. if the Astro’s just hit 10% of what they knew was coming that would be the difference between winning a losing the series. The Astros need to forfeit the title.

Visually the movie 1917 reminded me a little of Lawrence of Arabia. Don’t think its the top film of the year. I liked Ford v Ferrari which is a variation of The Greatest Showman. Need more of that. More cowbell. Winner probably the Hollywood wish we coulda saved Tate movie… Hollywood went off the road into the briar patch about then.

have you seen the feature length Armstrong documentary which came out last year just before the 11 50th anniversary? I have and it’s absolutely superb, with appearances by Mike Collins, Chris Kraft, Frank Borman, Charlie Duke and Dave Scott. I think it’s the best doc. on him I’ve seen, and I must have seen them all. The only thing lacking to my mind was any of his wonderful appearances at the various Apollo anniversary reunions. His speeches were all so eloquent – bordering on the poetic. Anyhow I cannot recommend it highly enough. SITE HERE

I’ll preface this by saying today is my 50th birthday, and I’m spending it popping antibiotics to fight back on the ear infection that’s knocked me out this week. If this sounds like a cheap ploy to get my question read, that’s only because that’s exactly what it is.

With Hollywood destroying franchises and turning once reliable cash cow franchises into money losing flops, why aren’t we seeing shareholder lawsuits? You could make the same case for any company that paid for rights to license Star Wars toys. I’m sure that Kenner is thrilled with the battalions of unopened Rose Tico toys that sat in warehouses and on shelves.

And my birthday hasn’t been completely horrible – at least I’m spending the evening with Sister Babe, Little Bob and our dog. No pity parties here – I’m grateful for what I’ve got!

Given how you like to say that politics is downstream from culture, have you heard anything about Kurt Schlichter’s “People’s Republic” series being made into movies? Basically they’re about America splitting into Red & Blue Americas. The main character is cool, the action is great, and the stories have all been good so far (I’ve only read the first three). On top of that, he hilariously skewers the Leftists stupidity that goes down in Blue America. These would be great movies – when does Hollywood get its act together and make action movies that will make money?

With all the talk of 2nd Amendment “sanctuary” counties in Virginia aligning with and being absorbed by the State of West Virginia, is it time to reconsider the notion of an Athens/Troy style City-State for our “democratically-minded” friends on the Left?

The loss of Virginia state governance, once reliably red, to the democrats, has been gleefully attributed to demographic change from mass immigration by the NYT and Washington Post. Mainstream conservatism seems to insist that this is an “outreach failure”. Is this an example of ignoring data that doesn’t fit the theory, or do we fall into a trap by addressing how demographics, instead of individuals, change elections?

Bill, you are streaming on Twitch right now. Why aren’t you playing Star Citizen while answering TSL questions, dude? Think about it. Lure the unsuspecting gamers in with gameplay, and they’ll stay to hear what you have to say.

You’d be a unique channel on the platform. ESPECIALLY if you get some of the other members of the AR to play with you.

You have all the equipment you’ll need right there!

It’s a way to spread the message AND a moneymaker through subs and donations.

You wanna get ’em while they’re young? Go where they are.

One of the top streamers on the platform was asking his viewers about Hong Kong. He was confused about what was going on. I sent him your Right Angle about the topic, and the next day he said that the video deeply affected him.

Go get ’em, Skid!

Notions of free will, responsibility, sovereignty and that of a higher moral law are fundamental to the principles of the American Ideal. They are the legal justification behind our treasonous Declaration of Independence and founding. Are these concepts real or imagined?

You’ve recently spoken, a couple of times, of Dawkin’s notion of a selfish gene and seem to have given it a fair share of credence… Is this not just another argument for some kind of deterministic morality and basically, a denial of human free will? Why should Dawkin’s gene not be seen as a rendition, rather eloquent albeit, of matter in motion — the core principle of Marx’s dialectical materialism and the foundation of scientific socialism?

One of the most fundamental issues of the last election is not being discussed in any places I’m aware of. The election of Trump (and of Chairman Zero before him,) presented the clearest possible argument for (much) smaller government. Put simply to TDS leftists: “if you hate the guy who got elected so much and think he is damaging the country so badly, why do you believe in a system of government that lets this happen?” We conservatives absolutely detested the criminal traitor Zero, so we understand a lot of how the left has felt for the last 3 years. The office of the President should not wield so much power, no matter how much we like what Trump is doing. Likewise, the federal government should ideally be about 5% of the size it is now. This argument – using their hatred of Trump to present a case for small government is not being used against the left precisely when it is the perfect time to make it. Do you agree, and if so, how would you elaborate on it or make a better case than I have tried to?

How about a taste of what your State of the Union Address would sound like. Damn propriety and decorum, fully operational means no holds barred… no quarter, given nor taken.
Could you release the hound of cultural war so we can witness the power of our fully operational Virtual President?
