I salute this guy’s courage. He’s placed himself squarely in the crosshairs and I think he’s well aware that this will end his current job.

This was a brilliant video by a very rational and eloquent speaker. It’s a pity that your description of the video fails to mention anything about the topic, or the person.

The professor worked previously in the law as a prosecutor, and was a former Republican senate candidate. He describes a letter sent out by the president of the university for which he works, to faculty staff, that was, in his own words, ‘rushed’ out, to decry the violence at the capitol.
The professor takes the time to explain his political viewpoints, explain the factual issues with this letter and ask for civility towards Trump supporters.
It’s a pity that your comment is full of meaningless platitudes. I specifically introduced it as an unwoke video.
As far as the “violence” at the Capitol which resulted in an embarrassingly low amount of damage by domestic terrorist standards, I suggest you maybe do a little more research. They said a prayer in the Senate chambers for God’s sake.
This is the best that even the liberal New Yorker has to offer for a “violent” protest from “domestic terrorists” mounting an “insurrection” who apparently left all their weapons in the car…
