Oh, Evolve. I saw that on a bumper sticker in Austin, Texas. And it made me realize that’s where they are coming from.
Firstly, they HAVE to believe in evolution (the Darwinian version) because it explains why they are so much smarter than everybody else. And THAT is why they are better position in this world to make decisions for those of us who are simply not as evolved as they are.
I know I sometimes go overboard with the Heinlein quotes, but this seems to fit very well.

It is full of beauty. We need to take the time to see it in it’s splendor.
Those who refuse to open their eyes and see that splendor are doomed to live in squalor, no matter how much money they have.
Babylon Bee did an excellent take on the Balenciaga thing. Their (mock) article stated that celebrities were dumping Balenciaga in droves when a My Pillow was discovered in the background of one of their ads.
This brings to mind the old SNL skit of the vomitorium. The group at dinner asks the waiter to bring them feathers and another menu.
Several Christian scholars warned about this 50 years ago. There are three stages. People reject God, Yahweh and Jesus. Evolution and the rejection of young earth creationism and the flood is part of that. This is why evolution is mandatory in all socialist and atheist dictatorships. This is why any talk or evidence for recent creation is forbidden. Rejecting the ideas of Christian morality moving to Atheism is the objective.
Whether the Atheism is a path to immorality or the immorality the driver towards atheism seems to vary from person to person. In this context the family must be destroyed because it instinctively pushes some back to morality. However even in the Soviet Union and China they found they could not abolish marriage and family.
Then the third generation find Atheism uninteresting. It does not promise anything. It has no path to life after death, no promise of power, no hope for a better future. The children having been taught evolution and that Christianity is evil turn to the occult and Asian religions. Stalin’s daughter became a Hindu for a while, then drifted though various western cults while living in London and the USA.
This is the path of the Beatles: raised in generally atheist families and ending up very deeply entangles in Indian and Islamic cults. This is the path that lead to a resurgence of pre-Christian paganism in Russia in the 1990-2000. Its what lead to Democrats flying to Epstein’s island with its temple, occult religious statuary and sex rituals.
The next stage is finding sacrificial rites to these pagan gods. Those sex rituals. Drugs, sex, abortions, cannibal cakes, sadism and self mutilation, sex changes, are all part of that sacrificial process. Some still burn chickens on alters but when you are rich, think you are beyond the law and in some cases can prove it, then sacrificing chickens becomes a bit old fashioned and not sufficient for the fallen angle/ demon pretending to be a god. Sacrificing someone’s kid by tricking him to get castrated or in the case of a girl sterilized is a great offering to these old pagan gods. Doing your own kids gets even more power points form the demon lord. Destroying Gods creation is their highest goal. They can’t beat God but they can destroy his stuff.
This is not surprising or unexpected to Christian conservatives. It can get far worse. However people are fighting back. This has happened several times before the medieval adamites, the early renascence return to pagan rites, The depravities of the French revolution and Napoleonic religious symbolism, The Nazi and Italian fascist cults of the 1930-40, the 1960’s flower revolution with its sex drugs and rock and roll. Each time the west found a path back to God, morality and law. Sadly it either takes a war or catastrophic disease outbreak. In some places ad times however political reform and revival evangelism have succeeded.
The first question that pops into my mind is …
“What in the sam hell are those ‘elites’ doing to their own children in their own homes? Children who are under their control when there is no one else around to observe what’s going on?”
Because if Balenciaga is the tip of the iceberg and if that kind of disgusting objectification of children is OK to those people then it’s happening to kids in their own homes too. Else the ‘elites’ who promote and consume things like the Balenciaga ad, which is clearly the kind of sicko that ad was aimed at, would be as horrified as the rest of us.
All considered it seems to me fair to consider all such people as either child molesters, supporters of child molesters, or potential child molesters that just haven’t gotten around to doing any molesting as yet.
Watch the media and when you see this kind of thing being downplayed, you can reasonably be assured that the person doing the downplaying is a child molester and likely molests their own kids if they have any.
Bill complains about forgetting name. I can’t even start remembering them.
Just maybe the elites are so bored that they can only respond to shock. Similarly, our society is so comfortable that it looks for depravity and death in it’s arts. People forget how deeply we need to have a grounding in faith when times are really hard and hunger, fear, and loss is all around..

I watched this segment on You Tube, along with the Firewall video. Tried to give a Super Thanks on the Firewall and Google wouldn’t accept the payment. What Balenciaga did is similar to Kathy Griffin holding up the bloody severed Trummp head. Both exist in worlds where there is nobody that they associate with who would see any problem with what they are doing. It’s horrible that both Bal and CNN have corporate cultures where the hive mind is so vile that it probably never entered anyone’s thought process to say, “Hey, while all of my friends might like this, it might not go over too well with the Normals.” As a personal example, I have an old friend who shares my very sick sense of humor. We hurl insults at each other that would immediately and permanently end a friendship between any normal human beings. But we know each other well enough that it’s cool. But more importantly, we know that nobody else would get our jokes, so we’ve always been damned careful to keep them only between us. That’s the other side of how we got here – neither Kathy Griffin nor whoever designed the S&M teddy bear have any kind of moral compass to understand this
