I left this comment on the backstage, but I had a vasectomy 47 years ago when we were informed that another pregnancy would likely be fatal for my wife. However, about 50 years ago I remember seeing a man with a lapel pin that was a male symbol with a little break in the circle part of it. When I asked him about it, he said it was to show he had had a vasectomy, and he wanted to be attractive to women who didn’t want to get pregnant.
Just remeber, liberals don’t pass on their genes, they pass on their memes. It dosen’t matter if the host winds up sterile. The neuter who wrote that article may as well be a particularly half assed tranny.

Not too long ago I started seeing a cartoon meme with a soy and a chad that went something like this:
Soy: I turned in my gun to prevent crime.
Chad: Are you also going to cut off your (parts) to prevent rape?
Soy: I will if Biden mandates it!
Memes are meant to be jokes, not instructions.
Will women buy this? Women who are looking to have a family won’t. It might work for women who have the ‘you’ll do until I can trade up’ attitude.

I view it as it’s their choice, so as long as that, too, is not mandated or become a law, I’m okay with it.
i’m ok with laws, just like everyone else, as long as they make sense. speed limits, seat belts, invading personnel space and so on. it’s when laws (or the lack of laws) become oppressive to the point of absurdity that i get my back up. the killing of unborn children, no penalty for theft or destruction of property public or private, theft of elections so obvious even someone with the iq of maxine waters knows whats going on, those types of things.
america has gone to the dogs and i’m not sure there is any way to turn back at this point. there are several reasons of course and we all know what they are. some are discussed ad nauseam others hardly mentioned at all for fear of hurting someones’ feelings. k-12, soy, ritalin, title 1X, womens’ studies, political correctness, revisionist history, the nefarious chicanery and daring do by congresscritters… it’s long a list and getting longer every year.
i think america is toast actually. the box has been opened and know one knows how to close it back up. heck, on aggregate most don’t even know what i’m posting about. tally ho.
I really hope this is a fad that catches on with that particular crowd. We should do everything we can to encourage this on a purely voluntary basis and everything we can to be certain the Left does not try to codify this into some sort of stupid law.
It’s weird that the Left wants to kill American babies in the womb because “those kids will grow up poverty stricken” while championing a flood of poor homeless sick illegal aliens trying to enter this country because of the great opportunities here.
Besides the idea that those illegal aliens will become Democrat voters, the Democrats know that their socialist ponzi scheme of buying votes now with taxes that will have to be paid by future generations is going to run out of steam, and thus sap their political power, if there are fewer taxpayers in the future. Thus there is the short term goal of buying votes and the long term goal of making that as sustainable as possible by importing a labor force of illegal aliens.
Many Western nations are pursuing this same strategy, the US is not unique in this matter. As birth rates level off and even decline in Western industrial countries a shortage of labor, and thus taxpayers, is a problem for maintaining political power into the foreseeable future.
So why would Democrats pursue this self defeating strategy in the first place? Because the Democrat long term goal is a total lock on political power. That lock has a result history has demonstrated many times now. When political power is concentrated in the hands of the few or one, the result is always the same. The Democrat’s obvious strategy is to gain a lock on political power before their policies cause a complete and total collapse. Anything short of total collapse works in their favor. Hardship is their ally. They are gambling with the future, that they will seize total political power before total economic and social collapse. They don’t care if all they rule over is ashes and rubble because they think they’ll still live in luxury and ease as rulers.
Even this “virtue signal vasectomy” thing works in their favor. As in …
“Oh, you don’t want to have kids and are willing to sterilize yourself before you begin a family? That’s wonderful, your family can be replaced and the family you never had will make room and increase demand for more bottom tier illegal immigrants to fill the gap. By all means, snip away.”
