VP harris is a “Stupid Stupid” and is even getting MORE Stupid.
People forget that president Nancy Pelosi is still an option if both Biden and Harris crash and burn. Equally scary is the question of who Kamala Harris would pick as her Vice president.
The real trouble starts when they start putting Antifa and BLM people in uniform. As police resign everywhere that is increasingly a possibility.
However behind closed doors I bet leaders are not being as polite to Biden and Harris and that must be taking a toll. Biden’s weakness does not just play into Putin’s hands, or Xi. Boris, Australia’s Scott Morrison, and several others may be putting the hard word on Biden.
The Guatemalan president, Alejandro Giammattei, did it in public. If you see what he said you can guess that Kamala got one hell of an ear full in the confidential meetings.

I think that the Democrat Overlords set the āSell Byā date on the Joe Biden presidency before he was even sworn in. But given how fast that milk soured & curdled in the G7 sunshine, I think theyāre getting ready to pull him off the shelf. Jill Biden may be another story, but I think Joeās only ambition was to be forever etched into the History books as having been President. Regarding his treatment of Kamala, as with treatment of other Dem VPs in recent memory (not to mention the American people), I can only surmise that todayās Democrat Party insiders are just awful, awful people. They think that any power they amass entitles them to royally screw anyone beneath them. Such is the level of their narcissism & insecurity.
I agree wholeheartedly with the observation that when President Asterisk is out of office, the person who stands to lose most is Jill (sorry, I refuse to call her “Doctor Jill.”)
Given that there is no love lost between Jill and Kamalatoe, and given that * marches to his wife’s drum beat, and given that Kamalatoe is about as politically savvy as 20 grade sandpaper, I can definitely see Kamalatoe doing the duffle bag drag out of the Naval Observatory.

Hell, one of my Great Grandmas lived to be 106 years old. The last 16 years of which she had all the intellectual capacity of a carrot. I loved the old gal dearly but I’m making a point here. Which is you don’t need a functioning mind to keep living long after you should not.
The Alleged President is in the December of his cognitive functionality, which even at the peak of his mental acumen was never very impressive to begin with. By “December” I mean sometime after the Christmas wrappings have all been cleaned up, the garbage truck has emptied the trash can and driven away a couple days past.
I don’t know that Kamala the Kackling Kow is ‘assassination insurance’ but if something takes down Joe, and that’s a very real possibility considering he could fall down a step and splash the couple remaining brain cells still functioning in his gourd on a tile floor — Exposing her as the shallow, useless incompetent she actually is could be the very best thing Joe ever did for America.
If Kamala were made to look capable then it would be even harder to nullify or be rid of her. Joe might be doing us a favor and if so it’s unintentional and self-serving. Still, the way things are we gotta take what we can get and hope to ride out this disaster.

And with the discussion at the end of this R/A about 25th amendment, and Joe’s apparently diminished capacity, I’m reminded of this weekend’s brain freeze where presidentish Biden was asked about his comments about calling Putin a ‘killer’, and he began to answer, then just froze and paused, then continued. Everyone’s calling it brain freeze. I have a different reaction, and that is of an older non tech saavy politician who has to stop everything to really listen to what’s being said to him in his earpiece.
The duration of the ‘freeze’ seemed to be about the length of a sentence or two whispered into his ear. Watch it again with this in mind. And either way, freeze or whisper, it’s not giving me a great feeling about a President in Control.

The simple answer is, something is terribly wrong, when both the options of President and Vice President are such terrible candidates unto themselves. That either one would have likely tanked any other election candidate chances at being elected. However when you place them together the dynamic becomes, each pointing to the other as differently worse than themselves. This action of allowing each to be chosen “elected” jointly could be compared to the greatest con-job likened to selling the Brooklyn Bridge. Together, they in no way compliment each other, nor do they have strengths where the other has weaknesses. They would be a relationship doomed to failure if they actually tried to work as a team. Both are terrible, selfish, greedy, power hungry, narcissistic, lying, cheating, underhanded, jellyfish like creatures of no morals, no values, no accountability, no patriotism, no understanding of average Americans what so ever.
Kamala has a long history of lies and self serving actions. Why anyone, could or would support and trust her actions is a case study of political spin supported by mass media intervention and supporting tall tales.
So the question becomes is she being set up or just being expected to do the job? Well how about some of both, likely Kamala’s history of lying and shoveling “manure” aside is some of the reason she has been assigned these no win situations. Remember, the media will spin it into she is using that “fertilizer” to make positive changes in some undefined future way.
Misdirection and/or head in the sand(ignorance) have been the go to for the democratic party for decades. These two are prime examples of these type of tactics.
For example: Look UFO information is being released from the federal government. Why now? Was there some new or forced information lawsuits that bore fruit? Nope just…misdirection. Distract the public from what is being done (6 trillion+ in expenses and climbing). Bury the fact that the democrats, Biden, Kamala special interests investors are all directly benefiting.
If they don’t acknowledge it, then it doesn’t exist. They can’t be expected to fix something they don’t know about, can they? Its real easy to say they haven’t witnessed the issues on the border if they never actually go there….
But (some)people, discounting the cheating, actually voted for these two “terrible, selfish, greedy, power hungry, narcissistic, lying, cheating, underhanded, jellyfish like creatures of no morals, no values, no accountability, no patriotism, no understanding of average Americans” as you so thoroughly said. There really does need to be some kind of qualification in order to vote. However, you probably wouldn’t want me in charge of setting the standard. Only about 40-50% would qualify.

A question that I do not remember being asked: Can the democrats tolerate Harris becoming the President?
If Biden leaves office Harris becomes President.
Who becomes Vice President? Answer: a person voted into that office by majority votes in both houses of Congress. However the Constitution is clear on the succession list; the bottom line is that no Vice President is required.
No Vice President, no tie breaker person in the Senate. Chances are no one becomes VP.
The Democrats cannot tolerate a 50-50 Senate.
Harris must remain the VP, therefore Biden must complete his term unless the Republicans take the Senate in the next election.

You are correct about the Congress voting to confirm a new VP, but need to also recognize the role of the new President in selecting that VP candidate for the congress to vote on.
Amendment IIV Section 2: Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
I understand the succession list to apply if all persons of higher level in the order are no longer available, and it also applies only to filling the vacant position of President: so if Pres., VP, and Speaker of House are “gone”, then President pro tempore of the Senate becomes President, etc. [Recall the TV series Designated Survivor, with Kiefer Sutherland.]
Thus “President Harris” can nominate anyone she pleases, say Andrew Cuomo or Gavin Newsom or whomever, only constrained by the criteria that that person also qualify as a possible future president in turn (age, citizenship status, etc.). Thus a tie breaking VP slot is still filled by a rabid liberal/Leftist.
But in thinking that situation through in more detail, maybe I did not quite get your point. Did you perhaps means that during the time that today’s Congress votes on said VP candidate, right now the Senate is split 50-50 and thus might not “ever” find a candidate that they could accept. Thus there would be no VP selected. And right now the Republicans would be incentivized to keep that VP tie breaking slot unfilled to continue to thwart the Democrat Leftist agenda. Makes for an interesting “what if” situation, if that is what you were referring to? In reality, I suspect one of the RINO’s would fold “for the good of the country”.
If the VP slot were left unfilled for any length of time, then Joe will be 25th’d and Nancy will be the first woman president.
Ron, I believe your hypothetical case is also valid, but I was exploring the case of Joe is gone; and Harris automatically becomes President via IIV-Section 2. Then the VP slot is, or is not filled, per Alan’s or my hypothetical.

As Alan points out, it appears the Constitution provides a method to fill an empty VP slot, but does not make it a forced or essential action.
Looking at that web link of potential successors, if a Designated Survivor type situation were to happen, Tom Vilsack might be the first person on that list that could be considered a semi-sane Democrat. Perhaps followed by Gina Raimondo? Thank goodness Jennifer Granholm is not permitted to ever move into the Presidency.

I am not sure this is true. Hate to take TV shows as accurate, but The West Wing was pushed by Obama White House types. During that series, the VP as played by Tim Matheson has to resign due to some scandal. There is no replacement put into place since one that can be approved by house and senate is not readily available.
The next contrived story line has President Bartlett’s daughter (played by future Mad Men actress / SJW favorite Elizabeth Moss) being kidnapped. POTUS invokes the 25th while the search is on and ransom negotiated. Since there is no VP, the Speaker becomes president (John Goodman) which is not ideal as he was a Republican. (Clearly fiction)
So there is a scenario and I am not unsure that Nancy is not behind it all. She is from CA and would have pushed for Kamala.
