Not too long ago, actress Charlize Theron adopted two children. She has announced that at least one of them was ‘trans’ from an early age. Okay. However, recent legislation aimed at protecting children from any sexualized content has trans activists mad as hornets, and Ms. Theron said that she would ‘F*** anyone up’ that opposed ‘trans rights.’ First of all, she may find it tougher to ‘F*** someone up’ in real life than it is on a movie set. Second, the rhetoric of this movement and its religious zealots is becoming increasing more violent… and are some of their actions.

I don’t know why it took me so long to figure it out… the LGBTQ+ movement is the new Planned Parenthood. Just like Progressives used Planned Parenthood to control the population of blacks in America, the LBGTQ+ movement is population control for all of America. With a greater and greater percentage each year, the population of America will diminish. How did I not see this sooner?
Yeah … Charlize Theron’s is an empty threat. It’s actually embarrassing to her though I’m sure she doesn’t see it that way. She’s never come face-to-face with real violence in her life and she takes that as license to imagine she knows what violence is all about. She doesn’t.
I have no time nor interest for people who make such stupid declarations. Nor am I one to suffer internet tough guys, keyboard warriors or other vermin.
I’m not tough, I’m old and pretty well beat up from a lifetime of risks and injuries. I don’t want to fight and I’m not going to. Leave me the hell alone because you’re not going to like what I use in the place of fist fights these days.
That said, there’s a thing called a ‘credible threat’ and it’s the opposite of an empty threat. A credible threat is a threat where the threatener has the means and motive to carry out their threat. Notice I said “means and motive” and omitted intent. Intent is not relevant. If the threat is carried out there is obviously intent and if it is thwarted the threatener will always snivvle that “they didn’t really mean it”.
An example of a credible threat is pointing a gun at someone threatening to shoot them. You may not mean to shoot, the gun may be empty, etc.. None of that matters because you have demonstrated the means and STATED that you are motivated to use that gun. You should die in a hail of bullets for doing that.*
If you make a credible threat, you have no right to cry when the person you threatened acts against you. That’s self defense and everyone has a right to self defense. Whatever your feelings, if you threaten to ‘”F” someone up’ and you have means and motive, then that someone has a right to stop you from doing that to them.
The response to a credible threat must be proportional. A woman holding up a hand and declaring she’s going to slap you silly is not the same thing as a man wielding an axe and saying he’s going to chop you to little bits. You can probably overpower the woman or at least weather whatever empty handed assault she might make on you. You can and should shoot the axe wielding man.
The last guy that made a credible threat to my life and the lives of my family had the dubious pleasure of spending five years in a Federal Penitentiary. He didn’t go to prison because he made the threat. By that I mean that the charges he was convicted of had nothing to do with his threat.
I sent him to prison for making the threat. I might have done otherwise, had he not threatened me and mine.
The last time I saw him I was sitting on the center aisle in the front row of his sentencing hearing. I never heard from him again. So …
Your call.
Go ahead as say stupid things and see what happens to you.
*(Unless of course you’re using that gun and making that threat in your own defense or the defense of others. In which case you’d best be willing and prepared to shoot in less than a heartbeat. Pay attention to the context and spare me the nit-picking.)
I’m right with you on this. I was taught by the old adage “Don’t start the fight, but make damn sure to finish it.”
I’ve gotten in a fair amount of fights in my life, when I was young. That was dumb, and I learned from it.
But, to recycle your phrase, I’m old and pretty well beat up from a lifetime of risks and injuries.
No, I will not fight you. Yes, I will F you up. I play dirty these days, from necessity.
But I try to avoid getting into situations where I might need to fight. I don’t road-rage, I don’t respond to casual disrespect, I follow the ‘Rules of Stupid’. Left with no choice however, well, what you said…
Just the usual FYI…this only got posted to the lesser Rumble channel.
The nihilist left wing has abandoned both facts and values in favor of their blind unthinking obedience to their malevolent tyrannical ideology. Since they deny reason and reality, their only course of action is to resort to violence or as here, Ms. Theron’s threat of violence. Non retaliatory violence is the refuge of the intellectually and morally incompetent, so many on the left sense that they have lost the debate. From this sense of abject failure come their repetitive angry threats to attack those who disagree with them. We might pity them if they were not so vicious and destructive but what they really deserve is our complete contempt. Although I’ve enjoyed her work in the past, I will no longer watch Ms. Theron’s movies.
If the fat guy on the flight deck of a CVN bothers you, you might want to hang out with actual Sailors rather than watching Star Trek. The Fat Chief has been part of the Navy since the birth of the goat locker. And as a retired Officer who relied on these Chiefs, let me tell you, the men and women you slander are the ones who are actually getting things done. Two-shift maintenance or cyclic flight operations plus everything else a CPO needs to do (including training knucklehead officers like me) doesn’t afford much gym time, and they put the mission and their Sailors ahead of themselves.
Sorry, but when your running down my Sailors man, you’re walking on the fighting side of me (not a threat, just a musical reference).
Are you still AD? I don’t think Bill was referring to the CPO’s. He was calling out the flight-deck sailors who look like they can’t pass PT.
He specifically mentioned the ones who “can’t even do one pull-up.”
They’re out there. Look at Flight Ops footage from any deployment in the last 2 years. There’s quite a few pudding pops out there.
Bill isn’t denigrating your sailors. He’s criticizing the upper echelon who’ve allowed standards to slip so egregiously.
I struggled with my fitness for the first two years I was in, and almost failed my PT qual. But I had a tough as nails 1st Class in my shop who took me to hand and beat me to death with supplemental PT, until I was hardened up and capable. I owe him for that.
Current fitness requirements have been slackened drastically. It’s not a good thing.
On my way out after twenty-four years. Took a bad spill and while I’ll be ok eventually, I’ll miss my milestones for advancement – and with the Navy’s “up or out” officer management, that means I see the writing on the bulkhead.
Yeah, there are some fat guys. Always have been. Back in my enlisted days, some of the best Sailors passed their PRT with a nod and a wink… they they trudged back down to the plant and kept the ship a-moving. Turns out, their weight didn’t have anything to do with how well they operated a steam plant.
It’s not that the upper echelon let it get out of hand; it’s that they made a decision – have skinny Sailors, or actually get the mission done. Mission took precedent. So if it take a fat chief, or a pudgy ABH1 towing an aircraft, or an AD2 who won’t miss a meal – but can also get vibrations in spec on an MH-60 so that we don’t have to spend every hour doing a Functional Check Flight… well, we make our choices on what hill we’re going to die on, and since the beginning of time, that hill’s been readiness.
I am unable to understand how it is that these people who claim that very young children have decided they are trans and they are not being actively charged with child abuse. Daily, children are being removed from their homes for far less than what these people are doing.
