I noticed this morning that when I logged on to google chrome to get to BWN , there was a small headline near the bottom of the title page that read, this is” trans-gender awareness week”. What the hell, who makes this shit up? Are we supposed to take this seriously? Not only do I not care in any way who or what other people pretend to be, but I don’t even want to know who or what they “identify” as. If the statistics that I’ve heard are true, 1/2 of them is going to commit suicide. Does that mean that google is promoting a mental health disorder ?

You can “identify” as Napoleon Bonaparte, too. But that does not create any obligation in me to address you as “Mon Empereur.”
Only a leftist can think that helping people learn to accept the hand that biology dealt them is “abusive and hateful,” but hacking bits off them to make them into a cheap copy of their delusion is “empowering.”
I need to use chrome for work. I can honestly say that I stopped noticing the “google art” thing quite a while back. Did not notice that today until you pointed it out. So now we have a week for <1% of the population. They realize there are only 52 weeks in the year right?
I’ve been using Brave for years. Earlier this year I installed Firefox for when I need a second browser running (not just another window, rare, but it comes up). To make Firefox safe, though, there are a number of plugins that ought to be installed.
If you can get Brave past whatever filters your work employs, I highly recommend it. It’s just like Chrome – even from the same code base – but with safety features installed, such as third-party tracker blocking.
Because of all this social -media crap, every one is entitled to be proclaimed “special” and be acknowledged for their gifts to society. Every one is”special” and deserves praise and should never be exposed to any negative words or actions or ideas. Yeah, good luck with that.

It’s Google. They will promote their agenda in every way they can. You can avoid their agenda in your browser. I use Firefox Nightly and Brave. There’s also Tor Browser and others.
