Will Richard Gere Load His Jet with Illegal Immigrants? [Right Angle: Lightning Round XXIII]

Italian deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini says that if Richard Gere doesn’t like Italy’s immigration policy, he’s free to load up his private jet with illegal immigrants and take them back to his mansion for shelter. The men of Right Angle — Bill Whittle, Stephen Green and Scott Ott — handle this, and even more ridiculous stories of the week on the XXIIIrd episode of Lightning Round…a feature so precious, we can only bear to do it about once a month.

Steve, off-topic, but I didn’t know where else to leave you this message.

I would like to commend the following game-theory “game” to you. (Bill might be interested, too. I’ve heard him speak about game theory.)

The Evolution of Trust

The “game” explores the idea of trust in the modern world where so many of our relationships are virtual. It has ramifications I can’t do justice to in a short overview. It only takes 30 minutes. And it’s instructive and FUN!

I really think it might even be worth a PJM column.

(I’d also love to hear Bill’s reaction on a Stratosphere Lounge episode.)

Needless to say, I think other BWDC members would enjoy it as well.

That appeared to just be a real nice simulation of the prisoners dilemma that Bill has talked about before just in terms of trust and points and not prisoners. You should post this to the members blog so more people see it, it was a very well done simulation.

There is a great story called “Not Yours to Give”, which is a fictionalized account of Davy Crockett running for public office and getting educated by a farmer named Bunce. However, this story is not just about politicians; it applies just as much to hypocrite, millionaire SJWs like DiCaprio, Gere, Clooney and Penn.
