Will This Finally Do It?

Will open support for HAMAS be enough to change the way American Jews Vote?

Perhaps the only thing more shocking to American Jews than the barbarity of the October 7th terror attack is the magnitude of the pro-HAMAS sentiment here in the United States. Will this finally be enough to convince American Jews to stop voting for the people that enable these atrocities?

It will break some of them but there are too groups. Some believe that Israel has provoked the middle easts attacks. There are both orthodox and atheist Jews that believe this. These Jews do visit Israel but not often. Soros I believe is in this group.

The other group is socialist Zionists. These are super hardline and would actually wipe out all the Arabs if they could. Netanyahu actually has to work hard to curb these. These Marxist Zionists will not turn to Republicanism in the USA or Likud in Israel. Their goal is to see a soviet socialist Israel. These people stoke the Sunni verses Shia war. They also are fiercely anti-church. Some are religious and others are atheist socialist Jews. Some of these people died on the 7th.

Most do not know why Jews are hated by muslims so badly. Its really simple. I suspect many here don’t know.

Mahammad only debated one academic, a Jewish scholar in Medina and the Jew won in public. The prophet ordered his enforcers to kill the man but he had left the city and gone to a Jewish town near-by, Khaybar. Mahammad’s army besieged the town and after a hard battle killed the 93 Jewish warriors, and the scholar was tortured to death. They enslaved the town.
The Prophet made a huge mistake. He did not check if the scholar was married and they enslaved and Mahammad raped the wife, Zaynab bint Al-Harith. Then they put her to work in the kitchens. She poisoned a lamb meal.

Someone detected the poison and warned the prophet but in his arrogance Mahammad said eat it Allah will protect. They all ate the lamb.

God, not being Allah, did not protect. Worse still Mahammad had publicly predicted that if he was a false prophet then God (Allah) would cause a bad bleeding wound to kill him. “cutting the aorta”. This is precisely what happened the poison destroyed his intestinal track and he bleed continuously from his rectum. Internal arterial hemorrhaging that could not be stopped.
This killed some of the men at the meal. It took 2 – 3 years for the prophet to die. (This is disputed by some scholars it may have only been a month. Some dates being wrong.) Some died faster as doctors experimented on them trying to find a cure.
Mahammad is one of the few people in the world to attend as judge the trial of his own killer. The 16 year old Jewish girl had no way to flee.
Every moslem Imam knows how their prophet died. Women and Children are told he was taken up into heaven miraculously but the leaders know who killed the pedophile prophet.
Islam can’t live with the Jews, or Christians, since both have good biblical scholarship. We can prove the Koran wrong on many points.
However Islam also can’t live without non moslems either since under Islamic law you can’t tax a moslem. They need infidels among them to tax and exploit.

No. I’m a Jew and I have no expectation that this attack will change anything. Still, what does it matter? The collective Jewish vote is not significant.

Good point, except for enclaves with a significant Jewish population percentage the Jewish vote doesn’t affect anything but the local elections. I don’t think that’s the issue though.

The Jewish vote may not matter because the percentage of Jews is low but that’s not the only factor. Those same Jewish people contribute a lot to campaigns, social drivers like entertainment venues and other influential vectors.

What puzzles the rest of us is how Jewish people in a free country can vote against their own interests and the interests of the nation in which they reside. They don’t just do that in America, they do it in Europe and even in Israel. Granted, not every Jewish person fits this stereotype and the actual percentage of Jews voting this way varies from place to place. There are no hard and fast rules but there is an observable trend.

Clearly not all Jewish people think this way. For example you’re here and that’s very commendable and encouraging. I’ve spoken to many Jews over the years and I find that we generally share more common ground than not.

Except when it comes to politics where the Conservative Jew seems to be a rara avis.

As I see it, this is where it matters …

Jewish people are held to a different standard than non-Jewish Gentiles. This is a phenomena called “anti-Semitism”, something of which I’m sure you’re aware. Jewish people as a group seem to have a propensity for identifying with and supporting their own oppressors.

This is clear in the historical record going all the way back to at least the Roman Empire and probably further. I.E. a large number of German Jews supported Communism which gave Hitler an excuse to demonize them. Not that he really needed the excuse but it was there, woven tightly into his narrative of anti-Semitism. After the war the Soviet Russians treated their ‘fellow-traveler’ Communist Jews worse than any other ethnic in Russia. And that’s saying something because Soviet Russia was notorious for the barbaric treatment of its own citizens.

This inexplicable proclivity to stick their heads in the lion’s mouth is in spite of the fact that a lot of people like me are doing our best to defeat or at least tamp down anti-Semitism because it is just plain wrong. It’s not a matter of the nobility or lack of in the Jewish population in general. It’s a matter of Right vs. Wrong. Anti-Semitism is also massively insidious which is a trait of true Evil. Anti-Semitism is one of the oldest, best established, pervasive, incalcitrant manifestations of Pure Evil and a lot of people don’t even admit to themselves that they’re anti-Semites.

I’m aware that anti-Semitism is never going to be stamped out completely. Nor will any other prejudicial bigotry. It’s an ‘in group vs. out group’ issue just like any other bias between any other pairs of groups. The best we can hope for is to make it as unpopular as it should be and a point of shame like any other unfounded bigotry.

It would be nice if the Jewish people as a group, at least in America, would help us combat that sort of thing rather than support the anti-Semitic Left that hates them.

That’s why it matters.

I agree whole heartedly with you. One thing that struck my as I read you comment is that you could change the words Jewish people for Black people for the most part and it would still be spot on. Conservative people in both of these groups are often demonized by the very ones they are trying to help.

That interchangeability applies because it’s the same across the entire spectrum of humanity. It really doesn’t matter if we’re talking about Black people, Jews, the various Asian types, Indigenous or any other group. Including White people.

The issue isn’t genetic, it’s not racial. It’s cultural. Our Western Culture just happens to be the best, most tolerant, most mutually beneficial to everyone regardless of skin pigmentation.

The proof of this is the fact that real Conservatives are the least racially oriented, most tolerant human beings on the planet. We don’t CARE what color your skin is, we care what your politics are. A non-white Conservative is every bit as welcome as a white one as long as his political goals fit the Conservative philosophy.

I’m not talking about the bilious grumps, wannabe Nazis and those who call themselves Conservative but do not live up to the philosophical standard that Conservatism sets. There are lots of people who call themselves Conservative but in reality do not make that cut.

Your response put me in mind of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s, when Jews marched side-by-side with MLK and his cohort. Many Jews died in that time and yet remained true to the cause. What happened afterwards? I still find most blacks (in my acquaintance) who revile Jews (although some may accept me as an individual). Here again, we see Jews supporting the progressive Left that seems all too willing to throw them under the bus. Interestingly, every satirists/humorist I’ve followed from Mark Twain to Tom Lehrer has observed, “Everybody hates the Jew.”

I remember those days well. I also remember perfectly well that it was Jewish people trying to find common ground with Black people. While very few Black people were interested in common ground with Jewish people outside of expediency and convenience.

I think the phenomena you’re citing is akin to the fact that an awful lot of White people fought and died to abolish slavery in America. Yet somehow those people don’t seem to matter to certain elements in Black culture.

The Black Man did not free the slaves and he did not liberate himself. The White Man did that out of a compulsive sense of decency and a deeply abiding grasp of right and wrong.

Yet now we can all go pound sand. My reply to that segment of Black culture and those who support them is …

“Go pound sand your own selves, you ungrateful bastards.”

FWIW, I agree with MLK that people should be treated according to the content of their character. That’s a double edged sword, if your character is bad you deserve to be treated accordingly too. Being Black doesn’t get anyone off of any hooks. Choices and actions have consequences in both directions. That goes for whatever color your hide happens to be.

The “everybody hates the Jews” thing is massively disproportionate to any harm done by the Jewish People to the rest of the world. Which tells me it’s not a logical, cerebral issue. It’s a spiritual one.

Actually, “…chosen people…” is a very poor translation and the concept is totally lost. God didn’t choose the Jews. The Jews chose God. Now, try and translate that into one pithy English phrase

As the last few elections have demonstrated, the Left can screw up any and everything, to the point where even f-ing up the economy beyond repair and worshiping Moloch is out there for all to see, as long as the voters can continue to be allowed to abort babies.

American Jews, at least the “progressive”, secular ones, no longer worship God. They worship the Democratic Party. Their belief system isn’t found in scriptures, it’s scripted by the same people who feed disinformation to our mainstream media. Even something as obviously amoral as butchering babies and raping grandmothers is excused by their moral equivalence. It’s sad and ungrateful, a tragic way to show how they’ve forgotten why they were allowed back into their multimillenial home.

I feel sorry for the Palestinians, not because of what Israel has allegedly done to them, but because of what the “international community” and especially the UN, has done to them.
Millions upon millions of people lost their homes in the 1940s. Millions of Germans (those that survived) had to move west when German cities like Danzig (Gdansk) Breslau (Wrocław) and Stettin (Szczecin) became Polish, along with about 100 miles of Germany. Likewise Polish cities and land suddenly became Soviet/Russian (Lwów/Lviv, Wilno/Vilnius, Rovno/Rivne). The grand children of the Germans and Poles who fled are not sitting in “camps” on the border, digging tunnels, lobbing rockets and plotting vile murder to get back great uncle Helmut’s sausage factory or Grandad Woyzeck’s peach orchard.
The descendants of the hundreds of thousands of Jews who fled Arab/Muslim countries to go to Israel just as he Palestinians were going the other way are likewise not carrying on campaigns of terror against Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and the rest. ONLY the descendants of the Palestinians who were refugees in 1948 are still refugees today. They need a bit of tough love, not continued cosseting.

Negotiating with the hangman about the length of the rope doesn’t change the outcome. ‘Peace’ in radical Islam only occurs when everyone lives under Sharia Law. The first and final goal.

aahh, yes. That was a quick and accurate history lesson for the younger generations that have not learned it in public school. Very good work.
