When starting to read his offering for today, I had hoped that the coastal elite had found their way, but then I read this. The ingrates have a long way to go. Baby steps I guess.

Then, in a move that secured their heist while providing the manpower they needed for expansion, they started opening their doors to castoffs, screwups, and cultists from other countries.”
We didn’t “steal” America from anyone. Louisiana Purchase. Mexican Cession. Any of these ring a bell?
The Indians were far from saints and likely not the first here. They were also conquering each other constantly. But let’s just grant Matt’s premise. Why don’t we just all leave and make the entire country a zoo? Would that finally make the liberals happy? After all, the animals were here before we were as many of them claim.
Somebody had to control the land, protect it and settle it. The Indians did not. They were fighting each other for it. End of story. Dean Wormer said it best. We were the foot.
The founding fathers were not “scum” in any way, shape or form. The “scum” are the greedy, immoral bastards who mortgaged our future so they could enrich themselves off the backs of Americans while ignoring the signs leading to the crash of 2008. Now they are financing the other group of scum, the globalist Marxists in Washington abusing our justice system to target Americans.
I’m tired of ungrateful asses like Taibbi who attended boarding school (Concord Academy) and spent his life in New York (when he wasn’t overseas “experiencing life”) either telling the rest of us we should feel guilty about our country or telling us that we should really feel guilty about our country but to get over it as we suck like everyone else while providing zero proof other than their cherry-pickings from history.
My patience hasn’t just “worn thin,” it’s run out.
If Taibbi doesn’t think we’re exceptional, maybe he should ask his friends all over the globe what it would feel like if America didn’t have their back willing to risk the blood of our children and the time and treasure of our citizens to protect them from the likes of China.
And that’s not the only reason, but I have a turkey to track down.

I will never be anything but proud to be an American, but I am ashamed of any American or person living here taking advantage of the goodness that America offers while returning nothing but non-stop ingratitude and criticism.
