Woke goes Broke, AGAIN? OR When you insult your donors, they may choose not to donate.

“The Situation is Dire” – Salvation Army Faces Holiday Shortages After Telling White Donors to Face Their Racism (thegatewaypundit.com)

The Salvation Army asked for more than donations this year.
The Christian charitable organization asked all white donors to reflect on their racism this year.
Wow.

After a major uproar the Salvation Army backtracked over Thanksgiving weekend and released a statement refuting the claims of their racial demands.

The Salvation Army then removed its absurd “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide following the intense backlash over a text last week that told white donors to “sincerely apologize” for their racism while hinting that Christianity is institutionally racist.

And now the big surprise…
The Salvation Army is now facing a toy and donation shortage this year.
Here’s a thought — Maybe they shouldn’t have insulted their donors?

FOX13 reported:

The Salvation Army is facing a shortage of toys and donations ahead of the holiday season, and urge communities to find a way to help.

The nonprofit reports it gets 75% of total annual donations during November and December, and they are once again in need of support. That help can come in the form of an online donation at the virtual Northwest Red Kettle.

“There are many reasons why both financial and toy donations are down this year, not the least of which is likely pandemic fatigue and concerns about employment and the future,” said Colonel Cindy Foley of the NW Salvation Army Division. “We are actually trying to provide food, shelter, toys and clothing to double the number of families we served last Christmas, and in the midst of the growing need we are seeing fewer people donating at our virtual and physical kettles.”

Not only is the nonprofit organization short on donations, they also are in desperate need of bell ringers to staff the red kettles seen at businesses around the country.

Choices have consequences.  Every single time.

One might think that the Salvation Army would know that Cultural Marxism is antithetical to the Bible.

God’s Goal is to foster mono-culturalism through trans-ethnic assimilation to the Gospel.

1 Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I think “that which is not expressly conservative will eventually be taken over by leftists” (though I don’t think I quoted that right) is applicable here.

When you are a charity organization trying to help people who really need it, you have a moral imperative to put your personal views aside when asking for donations. You can limits on who you give your charity to, depending on your mission, but if Hitler himself wishes to give you money you will take it and turn it from his evil purposes to your good ones.
Trying to preach at other people, telling them they are not good enough to donate to your mission is just hurting the people you claim to help, making yourself a liar and hypocrite and no better than those you are trying to turn away.
I would sentence those idiots at their corporate command who came up with this idea, and those that approved it, to standing in the cold rain or snow for the next month with a sandwich board along with the kettle.

Of course. I always thought that the Salvation Army was a Christian organization, founded on Christian principles and focused on charity to those in need. But based on this article heir focus has changed. They’ve drunk the progressive kool-aid and its obvious. I do not mourn the problems they have — they can go on without me!

Cultural Marxism has permeated every facet of life. Purported Christian organizations, including some of the churches and denominations, are really NOT. They have embraced the world. His Word(Bible) tells us that friendship with the world means enmity against God. James 4:4
I quit asking if someone is a Christian, because the definition to that is not always understood correctly. So, now my question is——Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior?

Matthew Henry said it well———
Satan is willing to share our duty and our service with the Savior, because the Savior will not accept those terms.

Thank you for your explanation.

Until this year I gave a sizable donation every year to the Salvation Army, 1 of 3 organizations I felt worthy of my support, providing the most good for the buck. When I learned of their foray into woke-ism I decided my donation would go to Samaritan’s Purse instead. I let Salvation Army know why I would no longer support them.

Interesting, isn’t it, that their coffers are empty because the group that provides the most charitable giving in this country are conservatives. Pandering to progressives is not a smart plan.

Regarding Samaritan’s Purse, here’s some info you may be aware of already, but, in the event you are not, I thought I’d share.

Vaxx-Pushing Pastor Franklin Graham Developed Pericarditis After Getting Jabbed (noqreport.com)
Small Excerpt Below:
Generally speaking, I like Franklin Graham. I think he’s a true believer and his messaging is mostly aligned with a Biblical worldview. I’ve taken exception to his rhetoric in recent months as it pertains to Covid-19 “vaccines.” He’s an adamant promoter of the experimental drugs and went so far as to claim Jesus would have approved of the jabs.
“I think if there were vaccines available in the time of Christ, Jesus would have made reference to them and used them,” he said during an ABC News interview.
In recent weeks he has voice opposition to the vaccine mandates, making a distinction between the personal choices people should make and being forced by government to make that choice. He wants people to willingly get vaxxed, so for that he deserves some credit. Other pastors have gone so far as to agree with medical tyranny, segregating their own churches between the vaxxed and unvaxxed.

Even the CDC quietly acknowledged there are risks of developing myocarditis and pericarditis following the jabs. They did their best to paint it as no big deal, easily treatable. They claimed, “Most patients with myocarditis or pericarditis who received care responded well to medicine and rest and felt better quickly.”
Tell that to people like Graham who had his chest cut open and his pericardium removed.
Eventually, it will be so obvious that the drugs are causing the heart problems that nobody will be able to ignore it any longer. Until then, we need to keep as many people informed as possible.

My commentary———
I agree with JD Rucker about Graham. Graham telling folks Jesus would have approved of the jabs didn’t sit well with me. But then, it’s because I believe what is in some of the batches won’t do anyone any favors.
An older lady from church called me to ask me to tell her which Jab to get and I replied with, “NONE”. She did not appreciate my answer and throughout our conversation, she asked in different ways. I kept giving her the very same answer. The third time was it though. She was frustrated with me. I explained she asked for my OPINION and I gave it. Three times no less. And surprisingly, all three were the SAME. I did tell her and texted her info on a Prophylaxis Protocol from FLCCC Alliance.

There is so much wrong with the way Covid treatment has been pushed and forced on the public under nothing short of suspicious auspices that my opinion of the worthiness of it is zero. I won’t take it. It might not hurt me, but again it might. I’ve seen nothing that convinces me that the risk of dying from covid is greater than the risk of suffering adverse reactions or death from whatever it is the “authorities” are insistent in forcing into my body.

That being said, I think every individual, with the exception of children, should make the decision for themselves. Children shouldn’t be subjected to either the shot or masks – the danger to them from covid is practically nil, and there is enough proof that they aren’t spreaders so that shouldn’t be a reason, either.

Mandating an experimental shot is beyond questionable. It is evil. Especially since they are causing adverse reactions and even death, and are NOT working!

I don’t think it was wrong of Dr. Graham to state his opinion that he approved of the shot, and I am glad that he made the distinction between personal choice and government force, but assuming he knows what Jesus would do is silly, and irresponsible for him to make that claim, considering his influence.

It will be interesting to see IF Graham makes the connection to his need for heart surgery and the Jab.
Time tells.
Hopefully, it will be the truth. Truth seems to be scarce in this time.

Ultimately, each of us will give an account of everything we have said and done.
