World-Famous Anti-Lockdown Road Trip Delayed

The long-awaited road trip to protest continuing U.S. coronavirus lockdowns, originally set to begin on Wednesday, has been delayed due to the possibility that a dangerous weather system could develop over the state of Florida just when celebrated road-tripper Michael Piz would be about 1500 miles from home.

“This road trip is world famous because some of the members at BillWhittle.com live elsewhere than the U.S. and probably saw the original blog post about the trip. And don’t you forget it!” said Piz.

He added, “I don’t want to be caught in a weather event that could end up being a Florida-Man-caliber storm. That would be less than fun. I blame Al Gore.”

The trip is not canceled, merely put off until the current threat has passed. Given that Florida weather is about as predictable as Italian politics, it is not known whether future weather will affect the rescheduled trip. The tentative date for the start of the trip is now May 29.

Dan Bongino, who lives in South Florida, reported this morning that gutters on the house were useless, there was a new huge pond in his backyard, and he spotted Noah’s Ark heading down his street. You made a wise choice to delay…

Old Noah never could resist any excuse for taking the “old schooner” out for a sail, could he?
