Yet another battle over dress codes

There is one small problem with the battle between Tucker Carlson and the defense people on dress codes and female fighters, its time. These policies take 6 months to work though the system which means the changes people are blaming on Biden would have been first drafted under Trump. This kind of asinine argument always occurs about this time after an election when people think its the new mans fault when something changes.
These changes are simple. Fitted uniforms for pregnant female soldiers, fitted Kevlar body armour for pregnant women. A provision for long hair on men and women. Tucker missed two changes. Turbans added to the uniform code. That was several years ago. A change to the code on both uniforms and service medical due to the obesity epidemic.  You can’t spent 2 million dollars training someone only to throw it all away because the fat germ made him obese and it is a contagious germ based disease. We don’t have a cure yet. I keep meaning to write on that. 

Those of us that follow this stuff know that these changes been in the works well before Biden stole the White House. Its not woke, its preparation for the home front battles to come.

Australia has the same policy. Implemented a decade ago. With the same dumb screaming match. The same with Britain and a dozen other countries. Its not woke to be trying to make the military work with women in it. Its been policy in Israel since 1948. There is nowhere in Israel that is not front line.

The reason given is always a cover. The real reason is something many in the military are not inclined to discuss. When you fight wars overseas you can afford an all male army. (No-one ever actually does but that’s part of the point. Realty doesn’t give a damn about whether your prepared. Every army used women when they ran out of men. )

Somewhere in France this is someone’s granny. 

The military has talked about fighting them over there so you don’t have to fight them over there. The catch is that that’s always about buying time. It can’t work forever unless your willing to wipe out the foe man, woman and child. We will not do that.
We did not need to wipe out the Nazi fanatics or the Japanese fanatics of WW2 because both suicided in huge numbers on losing. Islam and communism does not do that.
We now have Islamic and communist insurgencies in all the western worlds capitals. They’re now over here!

Now you can’t leave your wives and daughters at home safe; the battlefield is the burning cities and suburbs down the road.
Now its not about Kevlar armour tailored for pregnant soldiers; when the battle in the streets reaches you, your wife and daughter will need that Kevlar. The same with dress code and uniform. Uniforms are all about knowing friend from foe. 

Grandpa will be in the fight whether you want it or not. You can’t afford to retire him off because he can no longer man pack the load, carry the injured marine or because he’s obese. He’s living on the front line of the civil war, he has 30 years of military experience and he can control a remote control drone as well as anyone. Your long haired cousin may be better at that computer game war so you need uniform for him, his long hair and all.
Australia changed its uniform code on beards, long hair because if your trying to escape and evade capture in the middle east army regulation short hair will get you caught and killed. [We always had legal turbans in our 100 year old uniform code. Some founding Australian army officers were Indian Sikhs.]
Turning a woman warrior into a crew cut alpha-male is not how its done. I’ve talked about Nancy Wake before, she is how a woman goes to war. 5 foot tall in a pretty floral dress with a hidden sub machine gun. In other words the battle is coming to you at home. Everyone needs to be ready including all those that didn’t pass the army medical or meet the uniform dress code. Being able to shed the uniform and wear a man bun as camouflage may be an essential part of surviving. People are preparing for civil war but can’t admit it publicly.
