Sick of avoiding sickness, many people suffer quarantine fatigue. Democrat politicians seem to think the cure is shaming people who want to get out of the house. Science long ago discovered a cure from the anxiety caused by being cooped up.

For me the Bottom Line is thatThe NEW Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) with ever GREATER emphasis on MORON is now most definitely ventured into the IDIOT category and completely jumped over Neurotic into a deep state of Psychosis Party. The Party has finally lost their handle on SANITY. The Party of INSANITY is even becoming MORE INSANE in word and deed. The Party of INSANITY is built exclusively on THE IDEOLOGY and the “fundamental transformation of America.” This GAGGLE of Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) have PROVEN daily and with GREAT conviction that are UN-American and committed to make a very different Nation with a very subservient population.
I’ve had face mask fatigue for about two weeks now, and I don’t have to put one on very often. They are uncomfortable to wear, and I think they are dehumanizing. I refuse to wear one out side, and I’m about two weeks away from refusing to wear one inside.
I’m not sick. I don’t hang around sick people. You can’t pass on a bug to someone if you don’t have it to give. I’ll stay 6 feet away from you – I’ll even stay 10 feet away (the 6 foot rule is arbitrary and probably inadequate, anyway.) In the future, if I’m sick, I’ll make a better effort to stay home and away from people.
This is a case of mission creep. Originally, we just didn’t want to overwhelm the hospitals. Now, since the medical facilities have never come close to being overwhelmed, but in fact, through this whole “crisis” have been underwhelmed, the mission has become to “keep everybody safe,” (which is impossible.)
As Dennis Prager says, “Until it’s safe means never.”
And one more thing, I hear too much about this being our new normal. It is no such thing. It is abnormal – and don’t you ever forget it!
It is Ballots or Bullets. When Ballots no longer work, the alternative of Bullets becomes more likely. When your freedom is gone and you have nothing worth having, Bullets will become very real.
I’ve been using my Trump Bucks exclusively on either local businesses or Youtubers who’ve been financially stressed due to the lockdown. Not spending that monies on big businesses who can weather this disaster.
Frau Fuehrer Gretchen Witchmer is threatening to extend her totalitarian curl up and die mandate because the peaceful protesters going to Lansing may be spreading the China virus.
Bill, I just wanted to go on the record and say that you have teamed up with 2 fabulous guys for this show. They are truly gifted at bringing out the very best in you as well as being brilliant, each in their own right. I sincerely enjoy all your shows and have followed you on YoutTube since you came out with the Virtual President series… but I especially enjoy your shows with Scott and Stephen. They bring a lot to the table.
As a response to this particular episode, my own experience is as a small business owner. My father, son and I are home inspectors in Virginia. We never stopped working through the lockdown, in violation of our asshat governor’s stay at home orders. Business slowed a lot the first 3 weeks and I was worrying the whole time that we would lose our business. After the 3 week mark, our usual referral sources started selling homes again and calling us for inspections, so businesses picked back up. We are still not full speed ahead in comparison to previous years for April and May, but we are busy enough that I’m not presently worried about losing our livelihood. Whether or not home sales will continue as the economy becomes further damaged, is another story, yet to be told.
I am not fatigued in the slightest. That may have to do with my despising my fellow citizens (Washington State) AND having been a former Submariner who spent 3 months out of 6 underwater.
Great R/A guys. So true. We ARE getting back to work, just in really creative ways. While I can’t mention my company’s name, I can say that we have studied very very closely (with legal counsel as well) all of the SIP orders from our County “Karen” health officer. The change came in April when Governor Gavin Newsome modified the state orders to allow companies who make or ship products to other stores/companies to return to work on limited basis to receive incoming inventory and ship it out. At that moment we implemented an already developed plan of hygiene, distancing, and work scheduling so we could “get back to work”.
Yes, our sales staff are not returning yet because they’re telephone sales/ B2B order processors anyway and can and do work from home. Our Finance and Purchasing and HR departments also work from home still, but we’re working! Our digital media and art departments can and do work from home effectively. Our professional athletes are all in their locations still doing what they do. We’re shipping goods. UPS/FedX and trucking companies are dropping off and picking up goods. We’ve even opened our light mfg (printing garments and items) with the same social distancing, hygiene and scheduling protocols in place. And this is in California. We got creative. We’ve always been an agile, flexible company with employees to love what we do. Our parking lot, while not as large as Tesla (we’ve got 120 employees) I see that our parking lot is getting full too.
We may not represent the spectrum of companies, large or small, but I can say our company studied what we could do and took the most advantage of that. We got to work! And yes, 8 hours of face masks suck wind… and stale breath.
If your company is so smart what are you still doing in California?
I kiiid, I kiiid! =8^)
I said creative and agile….and you are so right.
Scott Ott, well known for his pickup lines.
Scott – I agree completely about Face Mask Fatigue. I can’t stand wearing them and only do so at the very few stores that “require” them.
I’ve found the stores I go to either require a mask or there is huge social pressure to wear one.
I am relatively immune to social pressure. I have never seemed to care what stupid people think of me.
It hasn’t been too bad here in Reno. I had to wear a mask when flying home from Louisiana. Otherwise, I just don’t.
If a store requires a mask, I flash some cash and walk away saying they don’t need it.
The hourlies at the nationwide brand don’t care if you spend your monies at the store or not.
I suspect that the politicians will actually follow the citizenry on opening. There are several places around me that never really closed. Some of the brick and mortar shops actually read our Governor’s executive order (That would be VA Gov Jolson) which allowed them to stay open with no more than 10 people in the store, wearing face covering, etc.
Some restaurants with order seating areas that were doing take out basically had the stance, hey if you want to sit outside and wait for your takeout, that is on you. We’ve been going to one such place every Saturday.
As you all stated, we made a deal to flatten the curve and prevent the hospitals from being swamped. We didn’t make this deal and people are just going to start going about their business.
Stu of Stu does America was showing graphs of all the states and they showed that people led the “safe at home” isolation before the governors issued the lockdown orders… stands to reason that they will lead the exit… and hopefully the sooner the better
At least Gov. Coonman isn’t making us all wear protective Klan hood like his
