Good News Regarding Reinfections

I have started watching Dr. John Campbell on YouTube.  He has a teaching channel and website for medical professionals.  Of late, he has been concentrating exclusively on the coronavirus epidemic.  His channel is pretty much just the facts, most of which are stats he gleans from various studies and reports.  This morning he went through reporting of a study out of South Korea which strongly indicates that reinfection with or reactivation of the coronavirus is not happening in recovered patients.  The study has not yet been released in English (only Korean), so Dr. Campbell is relying on coverage of the study, but he did find 3 sources that he deemed credible.  Dr. Campbell strikes me as somebody who, “does his homework”, as the saying goes.  Anyways, what this means is that recovering from the wuflu does impart some form of long term (meaning 1+ years) immunity and the immune are not able to pass along the virus to other people. That’s what we need to develop the sought after herd immunity.  I link to today’s video here.
