Ok, now I’m scared…

Ok, Nigel Farage isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. It’s no surprise that the left and EU Remainiacs loathe him, fair enough, that’s their job. Like many on the British Right I’m not totally comfortable with him. I do admire and appreciate what he managed to achieve regarding our leaving the EU. I agree with him on a lot. I think I would enjoy his company, although there is a touch of Mr Toad about him, and expect he would be a bit much after a couple of pints. I suspect there is a little of the opportunist about him. He’s a fallible human, as we all are. He does not deserve what is happening to him now.

His bank is closing his accounts, both business and personal. He says he is having great difficulty getting another bank to accept his business. There is talk from the pathologically “fair minded” that this is due to hints of shady deals with Russia (sound familiar?). Well, put up, or shut up. If he is involved in fraud, money laundering or whatever, bring it to court.

It seems Farage is not alone, a Church of England vicar had his account with his bank closed because he questioned their support for “Pride”, members of Farage’s family and other anti-EU activists have had the same treatment.

You won’t be surprised to learn that the usual suspects have been laughing at this and enjoying it hugely. I penned this little bit of doggerel on the matter, feel free to use or adapt it.

You sit smug and secure in your North London home

But remember Robespierre, Rykov, and Röhm

Yes, I often wonder what face that the current revolutionaries will see when it is their time to be culled for the greater good.

Howdy from Texas. Nigel Farage is a treasure and could be very interesting into his third pint. One never knows, and that’s what makes life interesting. The very fact he is interesting is what scares the Marxist left.
