Huge thrill to meet Bill at his speech in Carmel Valley, CA at the Republican’s Federated Women’s Club this last February 14. Got to introduce myself and my daughter to Bill. My 33 year old daughter has been using Bills work as a counterbalance to 4 years of a liberal arts “experience” at Cal State Monterey Bay. Was fun to watch and listen to her recount to Bill her favorite Afterburner about the wonders of today’s modern life in Bill’s comparison of the 7/11 to the pyramids of Giza. In spite of a huge storm knocking out power to the venue, Bill continued on with a small microphone and projector powered by a generator outside the meeting hall. Great speech, even better conversation with him afterwards. It was an honor to also meet Natasha, who had made the trip up to Carmel with Bill. Thanks for the great experience.

Is your daughter the one Bill talked about on TSL a few weeks ago, who drew a pictogram of PJ TV Fire Wall when she was ill? Because that was an astounding story!
Yes. I had shared with Shelly in the BWDC office by email our wonderful experience in Carmel watching Bill speak. As an aside, and honestly that’s all it was, I shared with her my daughter’s backstory. Plus a photo of the 3 of us in Carmel, and a scan of the little card Giovanna made for me during recovery. Shelley shared with Bill and to my surprise, and to Ginnie’shock, it ended up on TSL. For what it’s worth, she did have whats called an AVM, not brain cancer. AVM stands cor Arterial Venous Malformation, basically a jumbled, tangled mess of arteries in the brain. Recovery from the surgery took over 2 years and at first she could only speak by saying numbers. We plan to print a large version of that little 3×3 card she drew and have it framed. We will send to the Bwdc office next week. Thanks for hour kind words.
