This Safire project has been doing some really interesting work over the past few years. Their recent release discusses putting the “electric sun model” to work for practical use as a system that:
- produces clean energy
- creates a serviceable heat source
- remediates nuclear waste
The nuclear waste conversion back into base elements that are neither radioactive nor harmful is the most interesting idea, right next to clean energy.
I find this project, and the related information by the Thunderbolts Project fascinating.

I wish they could bring Anthony Peratt in on the project, but I’d guess Thornhill being involved pretty much destroys any chance of that due to their history. Peratt being required to not released classified information gleaned from being one of the foremost plasma physicists working on nuclear weapons would probably also make it difficult.
I wonder if they have figured out the mechanism behind what was being done that caused their tungsten langmuir probes to crumble. That and vaporizing their first probe with such low wattage still blows my mind.
I remain weary of Tbolts due to some things I’ve heard about Thornhill and the Mainwarings from Ben at suspicious observers, who has given several presentations at several Tbolts conferences and has vowed to not return again. It makes me sad because I think there’s a lot of interesting science being done and many things said at these conferences have solid foundations, but it can be undermined when one finds out the whole saturn death cult origin and questionable moral capacity of some of the leaders of that organization.
SAFIRE is fantastic though. Their work has been incredible. I look forward to every update from them.
That is very cool and I hope it’s all that it appears to be. However, this video is clearly trying to sell the idea, and I am suspicions of anything that doesn’t appear to have a catch. I would like to hear someone poke this process and find its weak points and downsides.

That video IS a purposed production with an agenda… the Safire Project has been chasing these ideas down for several years with their work and progress posted on Youtube often under a group called The Thunderbolts Project. At this point, they have what they believe is a repeatable process based on discovery of physics that has been heretofore largely unexplored. Their agenda is to raise the money that will allow them to develop the business which will bring that new application of unexplored physics into a working model that can be marketed; likely millions or hundreds of millions of dollars.
In business, capitalization matches one persons money that they don’t need to live on today (wealth) with another person’s good idea until the idea can support itself and pay back the investor’s money with interest or a dividend. That’s their current agenda: raise money to bring it to market so the rest of us can buy some.
I dropped them a note through their website yesterday to find out if they are going to offer shares through the market, or if they are going to seek private placement, or an initial public offering (IPO) for which investors will need to be “accredited” ($200,000/yr cash flow or one-million dollar net worth, if memory serves).
