Communist China’s Major Exports: COVID-19, Defective Virus Test and Lies

The Czech Republic orders thousands of novel Coronavirus tests from China, and they’re junk. How can the Communist Chinese government continue to stand as they export COVID-19 and lies. We don’t think communists created the virus, but they certainly enabled its spread by self-protective deception in the early days of the disease.

This also speaks to reducing the financial debt we owe China. It would be much easier to walk away from them if they didn’t hold trillions of our bonds.

Bill, in line with your comment about not being able to ignore something once it’s happened, the West needs to recognize that this isn’t China’s first virus rodeo. In addition to cheap products, China has exported the Kung Flu, SARS, H1N1, and the swine flu. Enough is enough.

If communism is as immoral as slavery, companies who use its labor to assemble their products are party to communism’s immorality. Maybe the idea of “Blood Phones” could remind us of why America’s system is better and worth paying more for.

Bill, as a history buff of Soviet Russia and being married to a Russian, you of all people should not be surprised by the Chicoms actions. In your Cold War audio series, you made it perfectly clear that the communist mindset is all about face saving and damn the consequences. The Chicoms acted according to their “religion” to use disinformation (ala Lt. Gen. Pacepa) as a tactic against its enemies. Your shame-monger posturing will have absolutely no effect on a Chicom.

I doubt that the rest of the world will disengage in commerce with China because of this crisis. A third-world communist dictatorship with a first world manufacturing base tacked on proves that totalitarianism and capitalism are NOT mutually exclusive! The world’s elites have gained enormous financial wealth through the Chicom’s slave labor market. They are not going to kill the golden goose. The only way it will happen is if everyone outside of China refuses to buy their products. Unfortunately, people have short memories and insatiable desires for instant gratification. Not.going.to.happen.

Steve, Scott and Bill, Speaking as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (of Satellites and semiconductor Mfg. Equip.) I can say that my discipline has the answer to the “Mfg. overseas because of the cheap labor” problem. Simply reduce the cost/and remove the incentive of overseas labor. How? The 3D Additive Mfg. Industry is going to make a major paradigm shift in Mfg. Imagine, Design a product in a computer, send the design to your Mfg. Bot. and out pops the final product. Then the decision will be not where to Mfg. but how to promote and deliver the product. China will have to float on its own. IMHO. (yes, its more complicated that this simple illus.)

3D additive will be great for many things, but mostly low to medium volume in the short run. We are trying to incorporate our designs for prototype to be done this way. Siemens invested in a huge plant in the UK for this. BTW – I have also been in MFG (all in the US) for 30+ years. Parts for missiles and satellites early, now high-speed motion equipment. We both buy and sell into China. The length of the supply chain is the biggest issue for us. Thus far in our industry the quality of product has been very good. But the wages being paid for those workers capable of producing quality is ratcheting up. With relatively cheap money the cost of that supply chain tail is not problematic, but when people start looking at inventory like they were in the 90s, the costs will definitely start to merge. Add the increased wages and China will have a big problem in the next generation competing globally. Vietnam, India, and perhaps some African nations will be next.

You are so right Steve, it’s time that we start breaking off with China when it comes to certain products. The whole world needs to. At least until China changes it’s attitude with working with the world and stop worrying about their pride and saving face.

I’m with you, Bill. Since this WuFlu started, I haven’t bought anything from China…and I won’t unless I absolutely have to and there is nothing else to do. I will not give them my money. It’s like rewarding them for being unscrupulous. I have been in small communities in China and have seen those wet markets. It is disgusting how they treat the live animals before they kill them. Breaks your heart.
