I’m on Mewe already, just let me know what the profile is and I’ll follow it here. I’m still blogging, but I’ve had to move my blog from site to site over and over again because they kept having getting censorious, technical issues, going down or getting sold, now I’m self-hosting my blog on a very low end VPS. I’m also hosting my own Mastodon and Pleroma sites similarly. (My blog went from my own site, to Livejournal, to Posterous, to JoeUser, to Tumblr, and now to my own site again.)

Becoming a member was the key to unlocking the storehouse of treasures found in Bill whittle.com. Scott mentioned it’s value and I heartily agree. If Facebook, YouTube and Twitter can suppressed, how reliable is your .com?

Chuck Lorre, Dick Wolf, Seth Mcfarlane and many others….have weaved their liberal mindset into entertainment. So even if the talk is not about politics it’s still implied in some shows. The bad guy is usually a right wing radical or a crazy person who believes in Jesus is the brunt of the jokes. So it’s not just FB and Twitter and CNN and academia. Young people, future voters are being “entertained/educated” by Hollywood and athletes.

I began my Exodus last Tuesday, starting with discontinuing FB, with a ‘Go to Hell” parting message. Funny thing, my iPhone conveniences such as Pandora, iHeart, etc., that login thru FB or Google ID still work, which is when I realized that the Tech Giants still collect user metadata even on discontinued accounts, because the account markers wind up everywhere. This will take a while, but I’ll be deleting all known accounts that tag FB or Google, which also means switching to a private e-mail service such as reagan.com. Memberships, including this one will be tagged to private e-mail. So, yes, I’ll be “wiping my phone and laptop with Hillary’s damp cloth”.
BTW, I’d be the first to sign up for Trump Media.

Here’s another thought: Why not start a private e-mail service as well? Imagine, <Name@billwhittlecom.wpenginepowered.com> for an extra $5/mo added to Membership.

A few days ago, on an episode of Daily Wire’s All Access, a viewer asked Ben Shapiro if DW would consider bringing Bill Whittle on to do a regular show. Ben complimented Bill as a “great mind” (fact-check: true) and said he’d like to do more projects together.
I’d never want to see the band break up – Bill, Scott and Steve have such great chemistry and I really look forward to their content each week – so in addition to expanding and growing BillWhittle.com, collaborating with other prominent conservatives is a good way to reach wider audiences. They could also have a show here where Bill, Scott and Steve have conversations with guests. That is a good way to gain exposure to the guests’ audiences, which might include different demographics that might otherwise not be reached.
These three guys are brilliant, interesting and funny, and I have full confidence in their capacity to thrive in spite of Big Tech’s obstructions.
Locals, the site Dave Rubin started, might be a good place to land as an alternative to YouTube (in addition to keeping BillWhittle.com). The content creators retain complete ownership of their content and have total control over it. It’s subscription based and free of censorship.

I don’t want to be on there in a right wing echo chamber, we need to take those on the left that still do care about free speech with us. Free speech is the reason I’m going over there.

Often times in forums related to online video games it would be pointed out by someone that the character levels, gathered items and anything else in the game world was owned by the game company and you were owed nothing related to their value, time investment or any content created with them. Youtube and such feel that way too, though if you record and save all of your videos you can repost them elsewhere, and your following of people and good will are a sort of equity that you can retain as long as you can let everyone know you are moving. Like a forwarding address or a doman name registration or just a landing page with a “we have moved to suchandso dot com” you probably can bring your visitors to the new location.

I wonder if there will be any balkanization of video sources – one for games, one for comedy, one for politics and one for kittens. Youtube might be great for some things, but if their “algorithm” keeps pushing certain channels into the shadows, maybe we need to go back to a early www Links page, which some of the Youtube channels I follow do have.

Maybe change to some other content later. You three do a great job of bringing to light some movie or book or game. Right now….not the time. You have so many new members because they want to belong to a group that isn’t insane. The three of you bring your different view points up in discussions and it always gives the watcher/listener/reader a choice to accept. Later in 2021 you can change to your other provider, slowly. For now, stay the course.

TRUMP MEDIA?
This is simply a wild idea in response to this video (which I loved) and which fired multiple neurons, brain cells, and ultimately this brain fart. I offer it to the community for their editing, refinement, and politely worded criticism. It needs work, and may in the end be worthless. But if it gets YOU to thinking and being creative, then I would be most pleased!

IF DONALD TRUMP LOSES, do you think he’s just going to go\\fade away? I don’t. He might return to real estate (the most logical, the easiest for him to do), but he will stay busy and he will still be a “factor” in this country in some way. He likes the limelight and wants recognition for his accomplishments.

I think he’s had it with the fake news, NYT, WashPost, etc.. I think he is “over” Twitter and would like to see them crushed as well. I don’t know what he thinks about Facebook or Google but I can guess. And my guess is that he would love to put them all out of business or at least give them some serious competition.

Why not start “Trump Media?” He could publish a newspaper, a magazine, do TV Broadcasting — he could surely lure Hannity, Tucker, and Laura away from Fox which has taken a “left turn,” and maybe even pic up O’Reilly and Mark Levin. Trump has always wanted to make movies, so he might even want a movie division of some kind.

A.. A Channel on “Trump Tube” for Melania to sell her jewelry. Or to promote her “Be Best” ideas.
B. A channel for Ivanka to sell her clothing line or promote her interest in women’s work and issues.
C. A “ready made” audience of loyal BW.com members. (Trump wouldn’t have to start from scratch).
D. A chance to “stick it to the MSM and social media platforms.”
E. It would be “proof” that he was sticking up to the “forgotten men and women” by providing them with an alternative — he would be giving them “information freedom.”
F. A chance to make some money in a new business.
FG Personal satisfaction in (1) doing a good job, (1) getting the credit for his accomplishments that he desires so much (3) a world-wide audience.
Bill –if Trump should go in this direction, the three of you should definitely be a part of it (even a major part if that is what you want).

There have been news articles claiming that Trump is considering exactly this if the election challenges don’t go his way.

I would love to see DJT go toe-to-toe with Twitter! He could call it Trumper!
Instead of tweets, they’d be trumps! An upvote would be a ‘Bigly’, and a downvote would be ‘Fired’.
He could promote it on TTN; The Trump Truth Network. Hire Hannity, Liz Wheeler, Tucker Carlson and Kim Klacik! Run features from Klavan (no ‘E’s), Ben, Chad Prather, etc.

And there are many conservatives not associated with the Lame Stream Media that would be a definitive asset to such a venture. Anthony Logan and Liz Wheeler come to mind.

Well, I’ve just signed up for Parler and Rumble. Now is pretty good timing as I was about to launch a new venture on Twitter and Youtube anyway, so I can duplicate across from the off. I’ll also try to ensure that a bit like members content, some of the more interesting stuff is Rumble only etc to tempt people across.

I had mostly quit FaceBook a few years ago but still had to stay on in a limited capacity. Mainly promoting my blog posts, but also for monitoring groups set up for my kid’s school and our neighborhood kept on by a sliver.
Then the day after the election I got put in 30 day Facebook Jail for posting two videos about the irregularities in Michigan. I’ve been posting heavily political on FB since I first got on in the early 00s, and maybe got the occasional “fact check” attached to a post but never this.
F*** Zuck. I’m done with them. I am not going to enable them by posting more free content for them or engage in their groups. I know one person doesn’t make a difference, but I also refuse to provide any more oxygen.

But you’re wrong Brother Bob, one person can make a difference. Think of King David. You are leading by example. I salute you.
