Donald Trump Made CNN Journo Cry Then Humblebrag About It

CNN journo Brian Stelter Tweets that he crawled into bed to cry at our lost pre-pandemic lives. The reporter’s pillow — soaked in hot, wet tears — can be laid at the feet of President Donald Trump. Bill Whittle, Scott Ott and Stephen Green look at the man who might have been Brian Stelter.

If you’re a budding professional journalist working from home, here’s today’s Master Class lesson outline.

  1. Create a story
  2. Cry over it
  3. Humblebrag about weeping

Brian Stelter has all the hallmarks of a crappy r and b pop singer singing girl music like a girl for girls in a girl voice because he is selling brokenness to the ice cream sobbing time of the month club. It’s really telling that he’s trying to outbid Chris Cuomo’s coming out party. Isn’t Jim Carrey due to release a new poop painting?

Watching you guys from sight of Edward R. Murrow’s former home, it gave me a great thrill for you to give me a ‘quick look back’ at real journalism under fire. Thanks, Guys!

I remember a bit from one of Bill Whittle’s essays (possibly from Tribes) commenting about the female then-governor of Louisiana crying at a press conference after Hurricane Katrina. He made the same comments then about her, needing to be face of confidence and poise, reassuring everyone that the government was active and in control of the situation. If she wanted to cry, she could.. in the bus, or in the Gov’s mansion, but someplace off camera.

We’ve had women in this country more manly than some of what passes as men these days.

You guys went a little light on him I thought, at least compared to Chris Cuomo the other day. What does crawling into bed even look like

I’ve watched three full seasons of Z Nation over the last few nights without turning a hair, but that Soy Boy photo shoot will haunt my dreams tonight.

I’ve despised the simpering, toxic Humpty Dumpty understudy that is Brian Stelter since first seeing him on Steven Crowder’s show but this is a new low.

Crying is only allowed at funerals and the grand canyon! – Ron Swanson

I recall the late 70s and early 80s (well mostly, there are a couple of gaps) when getting in touch with your feminine side was all the rage. Mostly so that you could get in touch with real females.
Now we are only supposed to set aside our masculine side completely.

Silliness.

Except Chris Cuomo who is out there threatening everybody. He got to show off his butch-ness.

AAAHHHH! That photo scared me to death. Please don’t do that again. I agree with Steve. Stelter just wanted to be a ‘soy boy’ and show, as a man (loose definition there,) that he can cry and show his emotions..even this is all made up. He believes it will make the nation…especially women, swoon over him for his braveness in displaying his overwhelming debilitation at having to report the current news. (Read…Feel sorry for me…sniff.) Women hate it when men act as they ‘think’ a woman would.

I recall a time not long ago when the gossip rags (tabloids: The Sun, National Enquirer, etc.) were openly mocked. How the world has changed to the point that that style of drivel is now mainstream. I think that it behooves us to be reminded of old, sage advice:

Proverbs 20:19
He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets,
Therefore do not associate with a gossip.

Exodus 23:1
You shall not bear a false report; do not join your hand with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

James 1:26
If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

Have a blessed day.

Steve’s comment about men’s dress brought to mind an article I read some time ago about a still from the set of Saving Private Ryan in which Tom Hanks in WWII battle gear is talking to Steven Spielberg, the boss, who is dressed like a 1956 10 year old , polo shirt , jeans, sneakers, baseball cap. The author asked ‘How did we get from there to here?’
As a 1956 10 year old myself, I remember at first the media begin to worship the ‘student’ protests first in Latin America and then here, ‘students’ of any age became saints who cannot be questioned. Eventually the Peter Pans who refuse to grow up took over everything.

Love the awful leering faces in the cover pic! I do that same idiotic face in pics too, but only where it’s completely ridiculous, such as in my BJ’s membership card.
On a related note, I liked when Steven Crowder asked some guy he was interviewing if CNN employs any straight men

I haven’t even started watching the program yet… Man! That picture of you three, playing at being soy boyz, is one of the scariest images I’ve seen in a long time.
