Can you think of a better prohibitive measure against impeachment and other Deep State shenanigans than naming the Don as the VP on the 2024 ticket?
If we nominated Ron DeSantis from FL and he names DJT as the VP nominee, imagine their reaction. Send Trump out to concentrate their fire and run interference for DeSantis. Let DeSantis do the work, Trump does the PR and absorbs the scorn and ire of the left.

Just evil enough to work. Love it. However, how about Tim Scott as president and Trump as vice president. Could then say to Democrats: “If you don’t vote for him, you are racist.” Really cause heads to explode.
I just really don’t think DJT would take the step-down, though he might enjoy the idea of so many heads exploding if he did.
He may, if he really thought it would help the country and he trusted the frontrunner.
