I’ve always associated 5 9’s with tech (and 6 sigma came to my mind, as Bill mentioned it). Why I suspect 99.999 is tied to tech was the rise of online services available 24/7 with expected and planned downtime for maintenance. Being able to keep a service available year around except for a very little amount of time (I thought it was closer to a few minutes per year, but that might be a different rate) was a sign that you never took things offline except for planned maintenance windows when you had fallover or backup systems ready.
It was also a measurable metric you could put in contracts with penalties for time over the acceptable tolerances (more like the 6 sigma limit).

You have a choice. It is the likes of De Blasio or a civilization that can sustain a New York City. He and his kind need to be eliminated. If ballots cannot to it, then it will be bullets. There is no third alternative.

I kinda left out the most important point: we have an actual cure, so we don’t need lockdowns, masks, hand sanitizers, or a vaccine.

Thank you for the info. I read everything; I’m not sure what to think. Does this – and HCQ and selenium and Vitamin D3 and zinc – really mean that none of us can actually ask for AND GET the care that each of us (with a medical professional) thinks would be best? Can I or can I not go to my PCP and ask for HCQ and / or Ivermectin? Am I at the point where I need to find a vet from whom I could get the same drug, but prescribed for an animal, so that I’d at least have it in hand, just in case?
I am glad you found it helpful. It is overwhelming, both because there is so much info to absorb and because so much of it is counter to not only the current narrative about Covid-19 but also things we were taught were true.
You can ask your physician. Mine prescribed both HCQ and Ivermectin for me.

You don’t need a vet to obtain the veterinary formulation of Ivermectin. Many people have been using the “horse paste” of Ivermectin for years for chronic conditions such as Morgellons and rosacea, and several other conditions, for many years, because it is much cheaper than the human prescription. (The amount prescribed per pound of body weight is the same for both horses and humans.) Durvet is the easiest to use brand. You can get it at a feed store or online. You can take both HCQ and Ivermectin prophylactically.
Zinc picolinate is OTC but it’s a little harder to find than other forms of zinc. I get it online. You can take it every day.
“Vitamin” D3 isn’t a vitamin at all but a secosteroid –in other words, an immunosuppressive substance. Supplementation is unnecessary and may be counterproductive.
I have no knowledge of selenium beyond what’s in these articles.
Ivermectin (twice a week) and zinc picolinate (every day) (in comparatively low doses of both) is the combination I am taking and have been for several months. I plan to try HCQ sometime, but this combo is working well on my chronic viral infections.
When I had an acute viral infection last spring (which turned out not to be Covid-19), I took higher doses of both Ivermectin and zinc and they completely destroyed that virus with a few days.
I also have no fear, zero, none, nada, zip, of Covid-19 or any other prospective plague. I’m in charge of my own health care decisions and treatment. I like it that way.

PDJT getting and recovering (so far) from covid is going at least a little way towards removing the fear factor.
I wonder if the doctors used it in their ‘cocktail’ they gave PDJT…?
I hope so, but I doubt it. I didn’t see any wiggle room in their description of his treatment, at least initially (I don’t think that they put out another written statement listing all his meds after that first one). I suspect that the antibodies plus the immunosuppressives made him feel better–the question is whether he will continue to feel well after treatment stops. I am a little concerned that he will relapse a bit after a few days. BUT the antiviral he took (Remdesivir) sounds like it may have done the trick, in spite of the immunosuppresive therapy.
Anyway, Trump being Trump would want to go after the shiny new expensive antiviral. Don’t blame him.
Oh, and he was taking zinc according to that initial report. So using the two vectors of zinc and anti-viral should have knocked it out. All the rest was icing.
BTW saw a funny meme saying Trump could now donate convalescent plasma, and then lefties would owe their treatment to him if they get it. The picture showed that screaming person in the knit cap from his inauguration day pasted onto the body of a person receiving an IV!
