Feedback

I sent two pieces of feedback today.

This morning I looked on Facebook for information for when the peaceful protest #StopTheSteal would take place at the state capital.  I got a message that Facebook had hidden all of the posts because some of them might be violent.  I gave feedback that their explanation was “fake news” and said that I don’t appreciate their partisan application of the rules against views they don’t agree with.

Later I listened to a video with Rudy Giuliani talking about legal actions he’s taking on Monday for the Trump campaign.  YouTube  had it’s tag below trying to correct what the video  was communicating.  I really want to hide these ridiculous partisan messages.  I clicked on the menu and all I could do was send feedback.  I sent about the same message as earlier today.  I’m sick of them trying to correct my point of view.  Are they a carrier or a publisher?  They need to keep their political views to themselves.

I don’t expect them to change, but I let them know that I don’t appreciate this.  They will NOT control my views.

We elected Trump to fight these things when no one else would.  I think that’s the problem.  We do need him to lead the charge, but we all need to be in the struggle, not just let him do it on our behalf.  I’m not accusing anyone here, but I confess my own shortcoming.  We’re sick of weak leaders, but I’m afraid they reflect a large voting block that is also weak.

I was so glad to see the Republicans fight for Justice Barrett.  We need to keep that spirit alive.  We’re not done yet.

Someone needs to initiate a libel suit against Facebook based a comment a user makes and then challenge whether section 230 applies to them or not. If we get judicial precedent saying it does not because they are a publisher, Facebook is TOAST and so is Twitter once a floodgate of lawsuits open against them.
