From someone who loves math, and does not hate math haters. Just being a goofball.
That’s it! I have had enough of all your whiners complaining “I was told there would be no math.” Wimps. Anti math bigots. Math is awesome! You don’t know what you are missing. Giving cash to a cashier and figuring out the change before the machine figures it out is such a thrill. (Yup. Done it more than one.) Exercising your mind by asking someone to give you a for digit number and a two digit percentage and doing it in your head is such an endorphin rush. (Yup, that too) Figuring out how to find an error in bookkeeping by noting numerical patterns. (In high school. Freaked my father out.) I know math is supposed to be racist. Cow patties! Math is no respecter of persons. You could not have a good life without math!
You just don’t know what you are missing. I feel sorry for you. You miss such joy.
But that is ok. I’m sure you have your own joys, and differences can be good.
The scary part is I am not just a math geek. I can sing. I can act. I can do accents. I tell bad jokes (and some good ones.) Have been told at more than one job I was free entertainment. You just don’t choose me first in any sports event. (not horrible, but not good either)
