With a work ethic like his, a wife like Melania, and his enthusiasm, I’ve got no issue with Donald’s vigor. His health is probably a good bit better than the “youthful” JFK, at least as far as his lack of chronic pain – a huge contributor to early aging. Trump even seems more youthful because of his positive messaging. Make America Great Again is a hopeful message. Obama shaming us for our perceived prominence in the world and how we need to tone down our national ego is such a “granny” thing to nag about.
I hope the Dems run Beto or some other empty, “youthful” vessel with their naive, insipid policies. The “geezer” Dems are doubling down on stupid, too. (My nightmare is that Michelle Obama runs. She would get the Media into a frenzy and is young enough to at least pretend that her policies aren’t fossilized garbage.)

I think the aging incompacitaion of the President should be left to the voters.
BUT… I’ve come around to the preference for a mandatory retirement age for the courts. Supremes on down. First off, I’m not comfortable w/ a person who’s old enough to think color TV is wiz-bang technology deciding issues on, say, net-neutrality. Also, it will create high turnover on the courts meaning that Senate hearings on a new Justice stops being such a blood-sport cause we’ll know when that person is leaving the court.
Trump has much more energy than many much younger than him,
Benjamin Franklin, however – despite age – had that ‘youthful vigor’ you talk about.
