Typical… Problem with living where you don’t have to deal with the zoning board to build a pen for your pony is that you also don’t have bandwidth sufficient to listen to Bill livestream his Thursday night show. Oh well. I am able to livestream many other of my online vidchats (Gizadeathstar – Dr. JP Farrell or Richard Dolan) but somehow the mountains and desert seem to be getting in the way between California and Texas. Heh.
Maybe in time…

I can relate to this. Even though only 76 people actually watch the show live, I’ve become accustomed to it to the point where watching the recording afterward just isn’t the same. It’s probably just nostalgia for yesteryear when you actually had to tune in at the time a show was airing. It’s become my Thursday night routine to catch LWC at 8:00 and TSL at 9:00 live, as God intended.
I am jealous. I think I have watched TSL a total of 4 times live. Seen every recording eventually.
If you can live without the video it’s possible to listen to the audio only. Apparently randomly, twitch makes lower resolutions video streaming available. Audio only wasn’t an option through the embedded video here, when I last checked, but lower resolution may be when it’s available.
I hope you find some comfort, Jane, in the fact that you can find the latest episode of The Stratosphere Lounge right here, typically within less than 24 hours of the livecast. Meanwhile, the rest of us will burn with envy at your pony-pen life.
Really appreciate that they go up so quickly, Scott. I am almost never able to watch live but get caught up before the next one since I can watch (listen) at work.
