During 70 years of living I have discovered that if most people assume that you would do something you have never done it is based on the fact that is how they would act in a similar situation!! Obviously what ever this guy to coming up with is based on how he would act or has acted if/when he were/is in that situation. I believe the term for that is projection.

We act like this “Comedian” basing his routine on projections of conservative memes is something unusual. Most movies do the same thing. Most television does the same thing. Most political narratives do the same thing. The only politically correct “Bad Guy” is me, a hardworking, married with children, white male with Christian values.
What’s different about what this guy does and what the Democratic Party, Black Lives Matter, etc. are doing?
This happens so often. Truth is rare nowadays. I think it would be hilarious if someone came forward and identified himself as the actual “corn pop” and sued Biden for libel.
I wonder if this hack’s former girlfriend has looked into a slander suit. He is a public person, as far as that goes, and as such could have told everyone he was making things up for his standup and she did not do anything to him the next time he does a show.. or the next 5 times.
If she has been threatened and suffered some damage, especially emotional damage since that seems more real to him, he should have to pay her out of whatever earnings he might be making, for misleading people about her.
I also don’t agree with the cancel movements but TV and other show hosts, entertainers and such need to either make it clear to their audiences that what they say is not to be taken seriously, or it is truth and should be taken seriously. MSNBC’s recent court cases as examples, Rachel Madcow has had to plead incompetence to avoid a few judgements and I don’t know if that has filtered to her audience or not. I suppose at some point, if the lies and lawsuits continue, a judge will have to ask her if she is serious about not being taken seriously and when or how she will inform her audience she is just an entertainer and not a journalist.
The phrase “emotional truth” reminds me of the phrase “social justice”. They are neither truth nor justice.
Truth and justice need no adjectives.
Much in the same way as Man and Woman need no hyphenated modifier.
Thus we see illustrated, why the left wants Humpty Dumpty to run the dictionary. The goal isn’t just to muddy communication; but to get people to believe that reality itself is subjective.

Racism is now defined by what could have occurred rather than by what did occur.
We are at a point in America that every minority is essentially Veruca Salt. Except, if they don’t get what they want, it is due the their being a minority and not because they didn’t earn it (achieve it) and are just being a brat.
Like, Scott, I cannot affect any type of protest on this person; I have never watched him.
But we can learn from this. As Thad points out below: Vivek should actually call this guy out on the next debate stage. He should highlight the difference that not every person of color expects to be a victim.

I tend to use Socialist and Marxist interchangeably. As someone whose Mother’s family fled Fascists (Italy) and Father’s family fled Communists (Poland) I should do better.

When the Left and those who sympathize with our political opposition make things up because “we deserve that and even if it’s not true it could be” then those things are lies meant to hurt us. They are spiteful, despicable lies intentionally crafted to damage other people and we happen to be the other people. If the truth would serve and the accusations were valid — You know they’d be using truth and not making up lies about us.
The other side makes a science out of phony outrage, spin, lies craftily built by omitting the whole truth, hyperbolic sensationalistic exaggeration, accentuating the bad while completely ignoring the good, trumpeting the bleak and stifling the hopeful, slander, false accusation, rampant confirmation bias and the darker aspects of group induced neurosis and psychosis.
Which all happen to be manipulation not by logic and reason but by claiming that “emotional truth” and such inventions pulled from thin air are something valid and not a lie.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they didn’t do those things? Can we agree that those things are terrible acts? Can we also agree that people who do that kind of thing are cretins and mountebanks undeserving of trust and favorable regard? That such people are the ones actually deserving of the scorn they wrongly attempt to heap on others?
The more introspective among you have already guessed where I’m going with this. The Left does not have a monopoly on this sort of thing. There are plenty on the Right. Even a few, not many but a few of them right here commenting on this site, who do exactly the same thing. The flip side of that very same coin.
If it’s not OK for the Left to do these things, it’s not OK for us to do them either. Sauce for the goose …
If we can’t win with honesty, insightful analysis, and integrity we do not deserve to win. Because if we’re going to win that’s the only way it happens. A titular win based on dishonesty, delusion and deception no matter how noble the supposed cause is, just puts us in the same place the Left wants us to be. It’s not about Commies vs. Capitalists, it’s about Good vs. Evil. Evil is happy to rule by Communism as well as Capitalism or any other tool that brings victory to Evil. As long as Evil rules and where Evil rules, the results are the same.
Most people, Right or Left, who exhibit this behavior don’t realize they’re doing this evil thing. They’ve let themselves be led down a garden path to where they think they’re doing the right thing. If you think making up lies, hyperbolic exaggeration, apoplectic outrage over the most minor issue*, demonizing people on your own side who you think aren’t on your own side “enough” and all the rest is justified because the other side must be stopped at all costs … Well guess what? That’s what the other side thinks about you too. You’re just like them, you use the same excuse framed slightly different than they do.
If you’re doing this sort of thing then you’re playing right into the hands of our enemies. They’re happy to have you join their liars club. Their purpose is to divide and conquer and you are aiding and abetting that purpose just fine when you do these things. Your tribalist outrage works just as well as any other.
(*Just to give an example of what I’m talking about — “Outrage over the most minor issues” — A while back a member here stumbled across a tweet or a ticktock posted by an idiot nobody. He used that single idiotic post to build a worldwide policy “created” by our enemies to support his claim they had plans to hunt us all down and kill us. Very soon. Like “Here it comes and here’s the proof”. Using that idiotic post by an idiot as the “proof” to base his phony outrage upon.
He found an idiot and made him way, way more powerful than that idiot could ever have hoped to become. I’m sure if the idiot knew about this it would make him very happy.
When I pointed out to him that this idiot nobody didn’t represent anything but his own idiotic self this member went off on me. Again. Later he would call me a Commie and a Leftist “that he had exposed”. Not because of what I said, but because I had the stones to say it to HIM. Once again, it seems that there is not enough real racism to go around. There is somewhere, people are flawed, but it didn’t happen there. Let the real victims tell their story only. Otherwise the “The boy who cried wolf” occurs and real racism is not believed. The whole thing is unacceptable.
Because the prevailing narrative in Entertainment is racism and victimhood, he needs to show “all us rubes” how he’s been abused by this intolerant country…which has NEVER abused him and has given him opportunities he would never have in any society in the country his ancestors came from.

It is tiresome and dangerous for people like this guy to fantasize about being subjected to discrimination, racism or any other -ism. Frankly, my compassion and concern for people of other races or mental illness in this country, which has embraced them as citizens, or given them taxpayer money to live decently if they choose to, who whine, complain, make false accusations and burden everyone with their inadequacies has reached null and void. This group no longer has that advantage from me. If I know them personally, that’s different. Otherwise, I don’t care what their specious lies and stories are.
I can’t speak for anyone else of course, but I think it’s a fairly safe bet that most people on our side of the aisle think like you. I know I do.
We’re not the objects of that sort of attack. The people who think like this guy are the real targets. He wants to spread his “emotional truth” lies to others who are susceptible to absorbing them. We’re just acceptable collateral damage to that sort.
When genuine virtue in actual Truth is not cultivated this sort always manages to thrive. For a while. It is the corruption of a rotting corpse, it stinks until the corruption has run its course. Leaving only dessicated bones as evidence it ever was.
But here’s the thing we all need to remember. The corpse is not our nation, the corruption doesn’t feed on the body politic. It feeds on the political side that fosters it. This is why it is vital for us not to become the political side that corruption feeds on. That must be avoided by not only being on the Right but in the right too.
These people are sewing their own demise, once they’ve rotted their food source they’ll dry up and blow away. Again. This has happened in the past.
The rest of us are like the people walking by the corpse. We know it’s a rotting corpse. We hate the smell and we avoid the flies and worms without being eaten by them. Eventually the flies and worms consume the rotting corpse and the next time we walk by the stench is gone.
That’s because we’re not the real targets of the corruption. The only real question is how much disease the decaying corpse spreads before it rots to nothing. Some might get sick, a lot might get sick, but the healthy part of the body politic will still live on in people like us and our children even so.
