Our country’s very fabric of cohesion is based upon the public’s faith in a Just government. The Justness of our government relies on one glorious principle: we are all EQUAL under the law. The trend of obvious injustices being committed and condoned for political reasons by politically motivated government officials is growing, and there is an obvious trend of individuals within a certain ‘tribe’ being granted outrageous and exceptional leniency and wrongful clemency.
To my view, it struck a new and unprecedented level with Jim Comey’s press conference where he tried to sell the idea that the words “extremely careless” do not mean the same thing as “gross negligence”. Even the people who defend Hillary know she is guilty as sin, and their defense is based purely in unwillingness to accept what they perceive to be a political defeat, and a refusal to acknowledge factual evidence of her crimes. When we encounter such defenders, it is not likely (but still possible) that they may be prevailed upon with a strong enough Tsunami of information. At the least, it may plant a subconscious seed they are eventually unable to avoid giving due consideration.
With any luck the following collection of links may assist in tearing down opposing arguments:
The laws Hillary has obviously broken (at minimum, if I tried to do the whole list I suspect it would end up being more like a book or novel) are:
1) Violation of national security under section (f) of the 18 U.S. Code § 793, as well as Obama’s Executive Order 13526- Classified National Security Information
2) Perjury for lying while under oath while testifying before Congress
3) Obstruction of Justice for her efforts to conceal and destroy the evidence of her violations of national security in #1 listed above

**This is the Federal Statute – 18 U.S. Code § 793 – [section (f) contains the ‘gross negligence’ clause]:

**This is Obama’s relevant executive order:

Of note on the executive order are sections:
[1.7] as it relates to the abuse of classification of information, or refusal to declassify information for various contemptible reasons
[2.2] as it relates to the requirement of senior agency officials to prepare , approve, and maintain classification guides that confirm to the standards contained in the directives of the order
[4.1] as it relates to storage of classified information in unofficial premises without proper authorization, and the requirement to adhere to standards for storing, reproducing, and trasmitting that provide adequate protection to prevent unauthorized access.
[4.3] as it relates to the above-defined, required standards for storing and handling SAP (special access programs) found on the server which are of higher classification than “top secret”
[5.4] as it regards the obligation of Agency Heads to demonstrate personal committment to successful implementation of the program defined in the order, and establishing and maintaining security education and training programs

This video has Mr. Gowdy’s explanation of the federal statute that proved Comey’s excuse for not prosecuting Clinton is irrelevant to the law. The gross negligence clause applies regardless of whether you have evidence of specific intent or not.
More commentary on the fact that intent is not required to prosecute

Mr. Gowdy asks Ms. Lynch to explain her decision not to indict – specifically what element of the FBI investigation’s findings disqualified the case (aka fact pattern) from being a viable prosecution. Lynch refused to answer.

If you are interested in seeing the Clintons get what is coming to them, you may want to spend some time watching the “Sunday with Charles” and “Charles Ortel is Closing In” shows on Jason Goodman’s ‘Crowdsource the Truth’ on YouTube. Mr. Ortel has spent almost two years doing a meticulous forensic analysis of the many fraudulent Clinton Foundations. The episodes are long and include not only a conversation about what he’s uncovered, but each one also includes his entire documentation that you can download. Fair warning — although watching his presentations is fascinating, it’s also infuriating. And yet, apparently his work is being used by investigators from other countries, as well as here, to look into these criminals. Apparently a number of folks who can actually do something about these crimes have reached out to him. As he points out in the presentations, Charles has done a lot of the legwork for local, state, and federal investigators.
Some of my recent favorites include: Charityshack and
Trillions
Finding Schemo
Jason Goodman hosts a lot of other shows that I don’t particularly care to watch, but the episodes with Charles Ortel are really good.
If they don’t get Hilary on the server stuff, perhaps they’ll all get caught (including the Obamas) in this.
I really screwed up the links on this. Sorry.
I’m afraid her prison barge has sailed without her. I don’t really know how I feel about that anymore. The video about how they get away with this because we’re good people I think hit the nail on the head though.
It’s my own battle with cognotive dissonance. I don’t wish her ill, but I am sick of unequal enforcement. I don’t want violence, but it would also be easier if they would just come with their guns.
I feel many of these people are evil incarnate, but they’ve brainwashed enough people into believing they’re righteous that dealing with them through debate is an uphill battle.
“Unequal enforcement” is the absolute Crux of the issue. As I started out with, equality under law is the FABRIC that holds our country together.
It doesn’t matter if you have animus, anger, or outrage towards Hillary and the other criminals around her. It doesn’t matter if you have compassion and forgiveness.
There is one question that spells the doom of our nation from within:
“If Hillary need not obey the law, why must anyone?”
This is the reason why I used the word “need” in the title. This trend demands a strong response. It must not be allowed to stand, or we will give away the soul of our country for the sake of selfishly feeling “virtuous” for “forgiving” these crimes.
As the Romans learned, you cannot have Freedom without Law.
You are exactly correct. “The Law” is actually just an agreement between peoples for a process, like agreeing to nine innings or a 1/4-mile to run a sprint. If people start believing that compact is broken, cooperation is nullified.
If prosecutors won’t prosecute, what choice is left to the people? Short of vigilantism?
The last slack I had in my rope disappeared when I saw what my ‘elected government’ did during the cowardly Benghazi fiasco. Americans don’t send Americans into risky situations and then hang them out to dry.
I agree. Those potentially, and probably avoidable deaths were an unforgivable negligence and the beginning of a pattern of obviously negligent behavior that has wound its way through Hillary’s public life.
That, even more than Hillary’s carelessness with national security matters, was in my mind the #1 reason she should have been seen as unelectable. Under her watch and Obama’s, we became a country that leaves good people behind to die (and then issues deliberately false statements about what happened and the cause of the attack). Disgraceful, shameful, and deeply un-American.
Yes. And as to your other comment just now, I don’t think all the report should be released because a) there are legitimate national security concerns (assuming we are still a nation), and b) it would give the bastids a trove of material on which to base the next two years of feces-flinging, and, perhaps selfishly, the less of that I have to listen to, the better.
“Lock her up!”
the problem is, in order to start the investigation, you have to have career swamp dwellers start an investigation into why they did a cover up of spiking the investigation.
Too many bodies will get caught (starting with Comey, who is gone, but has friends still there, and also Rod Rosenstein, among others who are still there)
Then there are all the congress critters who would get destroyed in the next round of reprisals when the Dems get back into power. The Dems have shown that they are not above using dirty tricks to turn investigation into which hunt, with well timed leaks.
Very few congress critters would start something with potential blow back.
We can’t be the first to play this game. But we can use the precedent they break against them (Thank you Harry Reid)
This is why Lindsey Graham wants to have a special counsel, to bypass the swamp dwellers, and he is absolutely right.
It is not about ‘being the first to play a game.’ This is exactly the opposite of a game. Things have gotten to this point specifically because the standards of accountability have been so lax for one party vs. the other.
Attempted reprisals are not a sufficient threat to justify letting this go. The Russia Collusion Hoax was an attempted reprisal. Doing nothing to hold these criminals accountable will not stop their naked power grabs and seditious activities.
They have been given too much leeway for too long as it is.
Re: Comey,
My position since oct. 2016 has been that he felt the need to layout many of the reasons that Hillary should be charged (without charging her) because:
1) There were too many respectable FBI agents that were real angry that Lynch had given the directive to bury the investigation.
2) There was a good chance that someone would leak all the FBI incriminating evidence to both a news source (like Free Beacon) and a congress critter
I agree, these explanations are probable. I will even grant Comey the benefit of the doubt that until Lynch told him to lay off, he was open to indicting Hillary.
