As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States, the President doesn’t have to “clear” anything with any other law enforcement agency. What is important is how he acts in his capacity as CLE Officer, for example, what he does with such information. Also, given the shenanigans of the FBI in recent years, he would be well advised to be circumspect in his communications and dealings with them
“Dirt?” What does it even mean! Pontius Pilate had the temerity to ask “What is truth?” as he stood face-to-face with the Truth. The first thing Bill should have asked was, “What is ‘dirt’?” The word is so vague as to defy definition. What is the nature of the “dirt”? The answer is, “It depends.” One person’s “dirt” is another person’s honey. To the one, it’s moral; to the other, amoral. The SCOTUS declared abortion to be amoral and Americans said, “Yup.” Hillary’s indignation was misinterpreted as having something to do with Bill’s legendary adultery, but this was going on since before he became governor of Arkansas. There was no shame; no embarrassment. She mistakenly thought the people of America had enough moral outrage to cast them from power, but to her relief, she was wrong. John Q Public was of the same feather.
So how was the “dirt” acquired by the snitch? Was it acquired legally? But remember, do not confuse the word “legal” with the word “moral”. There was a day when the word “legal” was closely related to the word “moral”. But that day is long gone. Today, most “dirt” on people is freely acquired by looking at their social media posts. However, hacking into a person’s account by guessing passwords, installing back doors, trojans or phishing should be a matter for the justice department. One exception is when the “dirt” is on your own government’s violation of the people’s Fourth Amendment rights; that’s grounds for a pardon.
The mega social media giants have been vacuuming up personal information and using it to profile people and sell for profit. Now, they’re developing social credit scores that their own government can use to stifle dissent. So, if a person’s profile doesn’t fit with the ideology of the people in power, it’s gulags and reeducation camps for them. So when the wolves come for the sheep, the sheep dogs are nowhere to be found.
Stephanopoulos’s questions are coming directly from the Clinton War room , they are all ‘Do you still beat your wife’ questions in which any answer can be spun negatively no matter what the victim answers especially if the rest of the press jackals already have either story written and ready to go. I’m hoping that Trump is the jujitsu master setting them up.
Hmm – How about the obvious? If some foreign person came to him with “information” on an opponent he would want to hear it? Ah Duh- Is there someone, anyone, a single person, any politician who wouldn’t?

And Russia because many Dem bigwigs (Feinstein, Biden) are deeply in bed w/ China. Not to mention and Dem HIGH dollar donors are dependent on China. So accusing Trump of being in bed w/ the Chinese could so obviously circle back, even Hillary wouldn’t try it.
Although President Trump often exaggerates/embellishes and brags about subjects or events, I believe he is willing to be exceedingly transparent and honest in answering questions. He still thinks like a normal, honest person rather than act like the typical politician who filters every conversation to ensure however he responds is going to be perfectly edited for publication. He makes quick decisions and stands by them because he feels he has nothing to hide, and by doing that he feels the public will ultimately understand he is indeed open and honest. That someone like Stepanopolous is not to be trusted, and Trump knows this, nevertheless does not stop Trump from answering questions like he always has. In other words, Trump is remaining true to himself despite reams of political reasons to alter his actions to conform to what presidents are “supposed” to act like. If you do not lie, if you always try to tell the truth as you know it, you don’t have to worry about remembering what it was you said or did in the past. This is Trump, even though he might get statistics or events wrong in re-telling them; but to the liberal press misremembering by Trump must be intentional and deceptive, because that’s the way they think and live themselves.
Trump’s ability to let all this incredible onslaught of liberal attacks run off his back like water off a duck is explained by his belief that he always tries to tell the truth, and therefore the truth sets him free.

I say this again. After watching Trump (for 2+ years) survive the 24×7 attack by the democrats and the media with the complete air cover of the media and him not only survive but actually get some great things done. It amazes me.
Romney was teased by Biden he would have blacks in chains and gave up and McCain (who was McCain again?).
Watching Trump and the media is like watching the Road Runner and Coyote cartoon. The Coyote (Stephanopoulos) shoots himself in the face with the double barreled shotgun with the curved over barrels, the rest of the media missed the entire thing and keeps on chugging the Kool Aid and feeding the sheep.
The issue here is that America may be dumbed down to the point that they believe they want the coyote to eat the Road Runner for dinner. I sure hope not.
We know for sure Trump has called the FBI a decade ago when the mafia tried to infiltrate his casino. Now George Stephanopoulos has to contend with the fact that debunking the “never talked to the FBI…” will prove that Trump is the whistle blower on one mafia boss and perhaps a millionaire paedophile.
