Great idea, the “If that’s what they want, we should give it to them.” The only way they’ll see the stupidity of their ideas is for them to reap the inevitable consequences of them. But it would be cool if they could give us time to order a few more rounds of ammo before they put it into practice.
I was in a little store in a small town in south GA when I saw a sheriff. I walked up to him and told him, “I’m one of the majority of people who is very grateful for what you do.” He looked so touched, and, yes, relieved.
Who would be so low as to attack the grieving daughter of a slain policeman? Neo-Marxists that’s who. They are in full attack mode. They smell blood in the water of American society. They use words as bullets…and the only way to stop their verbal onslaught is public identification, shame and ostracism…treat them like any bacteria…or they will kill us; first with words, then with bullets, real ones.
This is an interesting concept. But I think it needs a little clarification.
1) THe departments included in this “blue Flu” should only be those departments that are being “defunded” or neutered” in one way or another
2) ALL of the officers employed by that city/municipality should participate. Street cops, detectives, Forensic teams, code enforcement, etc. INCLUDING those teams tasked with personal security for the city officials!
THAN the people of those progressive zones and meaning those who control and/or manage those areas, but those who voted them into office can experience an honest cost/benefit analysis.

Bill the Blue flu that you are talking about would be interesting. Fortunately I believe most of the cops would show up for work because it is their job. God bless our folks in blue.
I surmise that the situation you are talking about is the case of murder in McAllen, Texas. As I understand the daughter mentioned is the step daughter of the murdered police officer. Some of the responses to her heartfelt tweet about the murder of her father are criminal. As I see it there should be criminal charges of ‘hate speech’.
I’m sure those that bullied that poor grieving girl have polished their shining, gleaming virtue to the point that it is a beacon of righteousness for all who lift their eyes to behold it.
I wish I believed there was a way to show them the truth about what they did and have it make a difference in how they behave toward others.

Women, children and elderly would be at severe risk should the cops take a week off nationwide, so I can’t agree with that approach. I would suggest that they take a month off providing protective services for city, county and state politicians, along with the Hollywood elites and Marxist organizations, in the states that are pursuing defunding.
…And all the Blue Flu would cost is the safety and lives of the helpless and unarmed.
I believe in a Day Off From The Payoff. Take a day in which Conservatives do not go to work. Hold back the tax revenue from these walking trash bags in D.C. But withholding help from the helpless? I can’t go for that.
While a one day or one week sick out would be interesting and (maybe) garner some press; the truth is this is happening permanently at a slower rate.
Every officer I know (there are quite a few in our church) is doing the math on early retirement and the reduction in pension. Those that are within a year of hitting the right numbers (age/ length of service) will be out as soon as eligible.
And there are very few going into the academies to replace them. And who could blame them. Would you want your child becoming a LEO right now. Safer to join the Marines.
It is time for those of us who are productive and or protective to Go Galt. We have been deemed “unnecessary and destructive” by the demented eternal complainers and blamers its someone else’s fault. Hence, our honor demands we withdraw our production and protection from who demand that we be totally consumed by those who produce and protect nothing.
The dirty not so little secret that our technological civilization DEPENDS upon those of us who produce and protect. Take that away and the civilization collapses and the nonproductive destructive will collapse even faster. Stupidity has a price and the stupid must be the one’s who pay it.
Reality is real and all we need to do is let reality do its thing. The situation will correct itself QUICKLY.
Going “Galt” as you say is a fine idea, but the problem remains … where? There is no “New World” available to which we can sail, and no magic force field exists that will keep out the unwanted riff raff from our idyllic collective. The practicality of life demands that we continue to produce or starve, and remember that if you don’t pay the machine (i.e., taxes) your property will be forcibly confiscated. Once such confiscation occurs, then one has no place to grow sustenance. The only practical way to “Go Galt” is through force, and that requires a large collective to defend. Recall Waco? Ready to repeat it? With whom?
The reality of such a naive proposal is that more than “the stupid [will] be the one’s who pay it.” In fact, we all will pay … dearly.
We will pay either way. If we don’t do anything, our freedom is gone and with that everything else that is worth having is gone too.
At least if we do it by choice and our own terms we have some control over the outcome. Suggest produce only what you need so there is no surplus. If you don’t have it, they can’t steal it. If you don’t produce it, they can’t tax it. Also work to be not there so they can’t find you. If you can accomplish that along with enough others, they are gone in a short time.
It important thing to understand is they cannot take care of themselves. They need to sacrifice others to continue to exist. Take that way, they have nothing and soon vanish. You can always rebuild, they cannot.
