If people from Minnesota listen to and act on the nonsense spewn by a demagogue from the Socialist Soviet Respooblik of Kalifornia … They deserve exactly what they get. Because whatever they get will be bad.
P.S. I’m a native born and raised Minnesotan, btw. I don’t live there anymore, I got tired of the soul-crushing winters. Minnesota is like a lot of America now, were the rural/non-metropolitan areas are ideological opposites of the cities they surround. Virginia is like this, Georgia is like this, etc. The socialist malcontents in the cities don’t seem to care that out here in the country is where the guns and grub are. Not to mention most power generation facilities are not located in major metro areas either.
The consequences to the Republic if he is convicted of murder are far more dire than riots.
The man was convicted of choking the life out of Floyd by placing his knee, and, by extension, his entire weight, on George Floyd’s neck, despite the video showing that his knee was on Floyd’s shoulder blade, and despite the lack of any physical evidence of external damage to the neck or internal damage to the airway.
The first day’s testimony was a violation of Evidence 101. All of the testimony was designed to evince the feeling of the community in response to what they thought they knew happened. In law school, the objection they teach you to use in response to such grandstanding is “More prejudicial than probative”. None of the testimony elicited on the first day proved anything except the fact that the prosecution had no evidence of any criminal act.
And now you have the media presuming to argue that a white cop should not have killed a knife wielding assailant who video evidence shows bowling over one person and turning so swiftly on her next victim/target that the entire event resolved itself in under three seconds.
Bring on the bloodshed. I am confident I will be on the winning side.
