Let not Muellerussiagate obscure this on-going disaster

American media continue to focus almost exclusively on Mueller, Mueller, Mueller, Trump, Russia, Mueller. While we dither aimlessly, the invasion continues at the Southern border.  A new study by the Pew Research Center reveals that the numbers are higher than they’ve ever been.

John Binder wrote in Breitbart yesterday [emphasis mine]:

The Pew Research Center reveals in a new study that the U.S. has admitted more foreign nationals than any other country in the world. Roughly 18 percent of the world’s migrant population lives in the U.S., the study found.

About 44.5 million foreign-born residents now live in the U.S., far surpassing Germany’s 12.2 million foreign-born population and Russia’s nearly 12 million foreign-born population.

This problem isn’t going away, regardless of the bluster and fluster in Congress, and continuing reassurances from President Trump’s Twitter feed that “great stuff is happening”.

Four million young Americans enter the workforce every year, but their job opportunities are further diminished as the U.S. imports roughly two new foreign workers for every four American workers who enter the workforce. Even though researchers say 30 percent of the workforce could lose their jobs due to automation by 2030, the U.S. has not stopped importing more than a million foreign nationals every year.

Set up cameras along the border, Mr. President. Hook them up to live feeds on the internet. I think we have a lot of folks in this country who want to see what’s happening for themselves, instead of listening to the predigested pablum spewing from our morning news feeds.
