The idea of freedom is so difficult for some to grasp and others to explain that history records few relationships of citizen/government scale that end in an amicable and happy balance. Overreach is a natural outgrowth of one man or woman being given excess authority to bludgeon the opposing force (ideology, religion, race, etc). These dictatorial types always have their “trusted” oligarchy (whom they occasionally murder) to enforce laws, maintain the preferable behavior of subjects, and advise them on policies and pursuits.
We are living in a time that sees no exceptions for that rule. In fact, it seems to be in a state of global communist-corporatist rule.
An example of this is found in France. Emmanual Macron, attempting to shutter Islamic extremism in private educational facilities, has stated that homeschooling will be forbidden with the exception of serious medical concerns. He also noted that Christians would be subject to the “anti-separatist” laws.
Now, in order to jump a sharia shark to this degree, one must either be a reactionary of historic proportions or, perhaps more likely, have a desired universal narrative that religious people would object to. This is hard to comprehend. The actions that a government and culture take can be very instructive without being acts of oppressive overreach. They can display a respect of dissent, disparity, and distinction without forcing action on the part of people.
If Macron wishes to present, for instance, the idea that France is not a bad nation, he could protect men, women, and children from violent behavior within those communities and highlight the fact that each act is specifically intended to help French people of all races. He could lower taxes to relieve all people of the financial burden of oppressive government during a “pandemic”. Why, he could even adjust the boot heel enough to allow individual French citizens (let’s be honest, they are subjects) to keep and bear arms of the sort meaningful to a national crisis of violent cultural takeover. Of course, these are not going to happen in France…Nor will they happen in the United States under the Delaware Scrooge.
Those points aside, this global push to subjugate every human to the will of government is so over the top that even leftists are beginning to get scared. We are well past the hour of Paul Revere. We are, globally, in a Sullivan’s Island situation. If we do not aim our efforts carefully, our modern versions of Clinton and Parker will take the day. These Globalist communo-fascists do not mind destruction, particularly the destruction of our children’s understanding.
Teach your children well or they will be thrown down one.
