Thank you, Scott! It brought tears to my eyes. In a good way!
Loved it! It brought tears to my eyes. In a good way!
Dude! During at least a quarter of that twenty minutes, hold the gash higher than your heart!
I wonder how long before that daughter wants to help out?
That’s simply beautiful.
Anything for a workout!
Yeah, I built that porch without a permit and was concerned they would fine me for it, but that was 12 years ago and I haven’t heard anything yet. Maybe the ramp made them look the other way.
Thank-you — that is lovely
Scott – thanks for sharing this. It reminds me that we have so much to be thankful for and so much we can do.
Great workmanship.
If I tried that in my backyard and did it without a permit, I am pretty sure the county would make me tear it down.
David I am so sorry. I really do not know what to say. Your comment has filled me with such sadness. Thank you for sharing your story.
Definitely a labor of love! Awesome build with true craftsmanship and quite a feeling of accomplishment. While my wife was in the hospital, I rebuilt our bathroom with a freestanding glass shower surround and built an entrance porch with handicap ramp for when she came home. Sadly, she never did….
What a sweet thing to do and I am so sorry for your loss.
I watched it too. Homemade stuff is just enjoyable.
